Vincent x Demon! Reader: What Did He Do to You?

How long has it been since Vincent had seen you? He couldn't keep track of the days, months, or even years. He escaped his silent prison of sins and joined AVALANCHE, in hopes of tracking you down. But each clue led to a dead end. What if you were still in the lab? What if you were roaming the world, fighting to stay alive? All he knew was, you were out there. And the first place he would look was the abandoned Shinra building. He stood in front of it, phone to his ear. The static from the connection became stronger the more he stepped closer.

"Vincent, be careful. There's something causing an interference. Shoot twice if you need help." Yuffie was on the other line, obviously worried. Whatever it was, it felt creepy.

"I'll be fine. I'm going in." Vincent hung up and placed his phone in his pocket. He could smell danger from a mile away. What was this feeling? He located the lab he last saw you in and closed his eyes, feeling the glass.......

"No, don't!!!" You cried out, squirming to escape the grasps of the many guards that held you tight. You made the mistake of falling in love with a man who had no idea you existed. Or, so you thought. You always ran away every time Vincent came around, and he took notice of this, admiring how shy you were. Hojo didn't like that. Even though he was married to Lucrecia, he violated the sanctity of his marriage by hitting on you and harassing you. And when he saw you looking at another man, his jealousy overruled all. He was going to turn you into a part of the JENOVA project, and see to it to make sure you never look the same again. He was going to take away everything that was human and give your body to Beta, a demon so strong, no one could beat her. Vincent was walking by the lab when he witnessed you being chained up in a cage, screaming out for help.

"Hojo, what are you doing to her?!" Vincent tried to intervene, but only got pushed back. Hojo laughed maniacally, releasing a cloud of black smoke into the glass cage.

"If I can't have you, then nobody can!" You were forced to stare Vincent down, watching as the cloud of smoke shrouded the cage.

"No please!!! I'm begging you!!" You choked out, the demon easily taking your body as its own. You were still for a moment, and then hell broke loose. Your body jolted up, your eyes pitch black. Beta.

"Finally! A human worthy of my beautiful self!!!" The demon licked her lips, eyeing everyone in the room, especially Vincent.

"The moment I get out will be my moment of triumph!! Every single one of you will become my meal!" She laughed, switching places with you.

"Get her out of me!!!" You shrieked, your skin sizzling with pain. Beta was destroying you from the inside out. Vincent backed up and ran out of the lab, wishing he could save you.

"What did he do to you since then....?" Vincent inspected the room for all records of your experimental torture. Who knows what you looked like now, much less where you were?

"The cage....." He stepped over the broken glass, inhaling the air.

"Sir, her vitals! I can't get them at a stable level!" One of the doctors frantically typed on a computer, glancing up every few seconds at the cage, where you were struggling to break your bounded limbs. You grinned from ear to ear, teeth razor sharp. Hojo groaned, injecting a fluid into the air in the cage. It always made you sleepy, but not this time. This time, you were immune to it.

"Damnit!! Everyone get out of here! Guards, secure the perimeter!" Hojo took one last look at you, watching you finally break free.

"Run little man! You can't outrun me!!" With all the strength you had, you broke the glass with one fell kick, catching and devouring all the victims you were able to catch.

"Where's that chamomile flavored man?! I want him!" You fought your way out of the building, mouth dripping blood.

"Ahh, fresh air. Let's go see what the world has to offer." You weren't yourself anymore. You took on a much stronger form of Beta, Alpha, and hunted to your hearts content. All those years, you lost every inch of you that was human. Pure demon....

"I can't find anything. It's all a dead end. I'm on my way back." Vincent informed his ninja friend, walking out of what remained of the building. He heard the clicking of heels on the roof, and he looked up to see a woman standing with her arms crossed.

"Well, look who decided to come back after cowering in fear." She jumped down and landed with grace and elegance. From the look in her eyes, and the chain marks on her wrists, Vincent gasped. Y/n? He took note of the belt of many daggers around your waist, ripped t shirt, hip hugging jeans, and a blue cloak. This can't be...

"Y/n...... Is that... You...?" He tried to take a step forward, but you stepped back. Was this the same man you fell in love with?

"Stop. I'm not her......" You looked away, completely emotionless. "At least.... Not anymore......" Vincent held his hand out. You were still you. Beta wouldn't let you show it.

"Your reaction says otherwise. What did he do to you?" You growled, remembering the pain Hojo put you through, your daggers in between your fingers.

"He took away everything I loved about being human! I'm not the timid girl you never noticed!" You held your head in agony. Damnit Beta....

"That's not true. I've always noticed you. Remember when you came to work one day wearing glasses? I noticed the humiliation when you lost them." You snarled, pinning him to the ground.

"That doesn't mean a damn thing!" Vincent caressed your cheek, and you slowly stopped baring your fangs. Why did you feel your face get hot?

"Vincent........." You sat up, and slowly backed up.

"I know what makes you happy. And right now, I think you're overdue." Vincent pulled you close to him and put you in a dip, kissing you with passion. He knew it was your final fantasy before you died. (Get it?)

"You did notice me...." Vincent kissed you again, confessing his love for you.
