Angeal x Reader: You're Not a Monster!

Ahhh snap, an Angeal x Reader!! You know what that means?! It means it's time for another sappy love story, but who doesn't love that?! This was requested by Lyria_WR!!! And after this, there's gonna be a soft Cloud x Reader, so stick around for that!!! With that said, I'll let you get to the story!!!

One day, in an average town, in an average home, lives a simp named Y/n who dreams of her anime crush to be real. Let's see what she's up to!!

"You're so adorable Zack!!" You squealed at the moving screen of your laptop. You were watching your favorite gameplay of your favorite game, and you watched the dark haired puppy hugging his mentor Angeal, who you thought was hot.

"Angeal! I love you man!!" It was no wonder they called him "the puppy", due to his bursts of energy and how friendly he was. You popped a chip in your mouth, your eyes glued to your laptop.

"Genesis, you fucking prick! Apologize for that!" You scowled as Genesis tripped Zack, who was watching Angeal walk away.

"Angeal!!" You shed a tear for the 2nd class SOLDIER.

"My friend, do you fly away now?" Genesis continued to recite "Loveless", and even though Zack was yelling at him to shut up, he kept going.

"Shut up! I'm warning you!!" Zack cried out.

"I wish I was there, so I can give that asshole a piece of my mind!" You paused the gameplay, and screamed inside your pillow. You wished to be in their world, just so you could tell Angeal how you felt.

"Protect your honor..... I wish I was his honor!!!" You threw your pillow at your t.v, causing it to almost be knocked to the ground.

"Oops." You casually pressed play on your laptop and kept watching. You got to the part were Zack was asking Hollander what he was even doing, and squealed when you saw Angeal's sword peek out from the corner.

"Working for Hollander now? What is it you're after?" Zack asked.

"World domination." Was all Angeal could say. He sounded so melancholic.

"That's not even funny man." Zack responded.

"How about..... Revenge?" Angeal lowered his sword, walking further away from Zack.

"For what? Angeal!" Zack went to follow him, only to stop in shock when a white wing resembling an angel's unfolded from his mentor's back.

"It's so beautiful!!!" Your eyes sparkled. All Zack was able to do was gasp.

"I've become..... A monster...... A monster's objective is usually world domination or revenge." Angeal stared back at the puppy, and his words made you angry.

"You're not a monster!!! You're a hero!" Suddenly, a bright light shined around you, teleporting you to the gameplay!!! Once you woke up, you found yourself staring at your crush!

"You're wrong! Those aren't the wings of a monster!" Zack clenched his fists, not noticing you. Neither was Angeal.

"Well then, what are they?" Angeal argued.

"Angel's wings." You and Zack said at the same time. Zack and Angeal both turned to you.

"What the- who are you?!" Zack raised his sword. You ignored him and ran up to Angeal, tears in your eyes.

"Angeal, think about it! Sephiroth's wings are black, and it resembles that of a crow's, and crows usually mean bad luck! Yours resemble that of an angel! If you take the 'a' out of your name, what does it spell? "Angel"! You're a good person! And if you don't believe a stranger like me, then kill me! Just know, that I love you!" Angeal looked at you, then at the floor.

"I see. Then what do angels fight for? What do angels dream of?!" His wings expanded more, a few feathers flying. Before Zack could answer him, you responded.

"Angels fight for the good of the world, and to protect their honor! Angels dream of being human!!" You took the last few words right of his mouth.

"What's your name?" Angeal put his sword down, wrapping his arms around you, engulfing you in a hug.

"It's Y/n." You answered him.

"Y/n, I'd never thought someone like you could change my life this way....... Every word you've said has made me truly open my eyes, and made me realize my honor is super important to me." Angeal tucked a strand of hair behind your ear.

"Angeal....." He softly kissed your head.

"Will you be mine?" He asked you.

"Yes...." You whispered as the two of you shared a delicate kiss.

I'm so sorry I kept you waiting😭😭😭 my one shots don't usually take this long, and isn't this short, but even after watching the scene in crisis core, my mind was still kinda blank!!!! But I really hope you enjoyed this!!!
