Okay, so I'm going to do my very best to write this. This was requested by Hunym94, so please enjoy this, because I'm at my worst right now, and I feel like writing is going to keep me sane.

Forbidden love. It sucked. It really did. That's at least what you tried NOT to think. With Yazoo, you felt like the universe was yours to conquer. You loved him, and he loved you just as much. Only problem was, he was a remnant of Sephiroth, and we all know how that goes. After the Geostigma had wiped out half of the entire city, including children, the remnants had disappeared. You weren't sad they were gone. You knew you would see your favorite remnant again, maybe sooner than you thought. That same night, Yazoo had snuck into your house and confessed his burning love for you, and you shared your feelings with him, and ever since, you two have snuck away just to see each other. However, you were unaware that after two years of sneaking around, Yazoo no longer wanted anything to do with you....

"Yazoo! There you are!" You met with him outside of Midgar, embracing him warmly. Yazoo hugged you back, but didn't say anything. You proceeded to spend the day with him as if nothing happened. You went on a picnic together, feeding each other lovingly. Well, you did. He always looked away with disgust upon seeing your smile. It's almost as if he despised you now. Later, the sun was setting, and laying there in the grass with him had you thinking about what you did to make him act this way.

"Yazoo? Is everything alright? You barely touched your lunch." Yazoo always ate whatever you brought for the picnic. It was strange seeing him so... Out of it.

"Fine." He reluctantly looked away from your worried look. He certainly didn't want to look at you now.

"Yazoo, baby, please look at me." You followed him as he stood up from the picnic blanket. What was going through his head right now? When you grabbed his hand to stop him, he immediately snatched it away.

"God, Y/n, must you be so clingy?" Yazoo crossed his arms.

"Yazoo, what has gotten into you? Tell me. We can talk it out. Please?" You pleaded, but it didn't do you any good.

"I don't think I want to be with you anymore. You're annoying, and too loving." You couldn't believe what you were hearing! Is he seriously breaking up with you?!

"What.....? No... Please Yazoo, we're meant to be!" You sobbed.

"Farewell Y/n." Yazoo left you all alone, broken hearted and distraught. The next day, you told your friends everything, and you soon learned that Cloud had found out about your relationship with the remnant and had to put a stop to it before he hurt you. Furious couldn't even begin to describe how you felt after that.

"I told Yazoo to break up with you and to leave town for good. I'm sorry, but it had to be put to an end." Cloud had told you before he walked away to do his daily delieveries. And from then on, you were nothing without your precious Yazoo.

"Okay, I'm going out! Anyone need anything?" You ran down the guest bedroom stairs, your purse in hand. It's been two years since your break up with Yazoo, but you had forgotten all about him. You had no idea what today's future would hold just for you.

"Can you grab some bread, ice, and juice for my cocktails?" Tifa wrote it all down for you just in case you forget.

"Sure! Cloud, need some more healing materia for your sword?" You turned to the merc, and he shrugged.

"If you want. I don't care." You rolled your eyes at his behavior. You had long forgiven him, but he was still as moody as ever. Fucking edgelord.

"Okay emo boy. I'll be back later." You ruffled his hair to tease him before setting out into the morning sun. It was quite the beautiful day, it's too bad it can't be like this all the time. You walked around Sector 7, exploring all kinds of new places. You loved shopping and getting to see the world, and you almost got that with Yazoo. He used to tell you it was complete nonsense.

"Why would I want to explore the world, when I already have it right in front of me?"

It was true. You were his entire world, his universe even. You sighed sadly at the melancholy thought. You went ahead and gathered the stuff for Tifa, and a little something for yourself, because well, you deserve it. On your way back to Seventh Heaven, you stumbled across a piece of long silver hair lying in front of you. You rubbed your eyes. Were you seeing things? That almost looked like Yazoo's hair. But when you blinked, it was gone. And so was the hope of you seeing your beloved again.

"I'm back, and I'm heading out again!" You set down Tifa's items and rushed out the bar once more, frantic. You couldn't take it anymore. You needed to see him again. You went back to wear you had seen the strand of hair, and sure enough, it was still there, despite the little gust of wind that threatened to take it along for the ride.

"Yazoo......." You whispered, seeing a man with his back facing you, walking away. He was wearing the same thing Yazoo wears, and even the hair matched! You followed him to Scrap Boulevard, and you stopped in front of a cave, watching him turn around to look at you. You couldn't believe your eyes. It was him!

"Yazoo.....?" You backed up slowly, blinking back stinging tears. He gave you a warm smile, stretching his arm out.

"Yes my love. We are destined for one another. I've been thinking about you non-stop for the last two years, and I will not let that Cloud stand in the way our true love. Y/n, you are everything I've ever wanted! I'm so sorry for leaving you! Will you ever forgive me?" You ran to him, sobbing in his arms.

"Oh Yazoo! Yes! I love you so much! Please don't ever leave me again!" And from there, your relationship with the remnant became stronger and stronger, no matter what the world had to throw at you.

Okay, I know I took forever, but I've been through hell and back for the past couple weeks. I fell into the deepest depression of my life, and I thought spending time with my mother would help me at least smile. Wednesday night, I was at home, sleeping for work in the morning, when I woke up feeling nauseous and sick. I spent the entire night vomiting whatever my stomach had, and I almost choked on my own puke several times. I had food poisoning from Chic fil A, and it took me at least two days to get all my energy and strength back. I was weak, and couldn't stomach anything. Now that I have it back, I can get back to writing, and I can finally do that face reveal I've been meaning to do since this book hit over 5k reads! Thank you all so much for your patience, and I'll see y'all in the next chapter!!
