Seanne's POV

"Really? Kookie would be having practice with you?" I asked Jayden in amazement as we eat our lunch together.

"We'd be having the closing ceremony performance together," Jayden said with a frown.

"Why do you sound as if it's a bad thing?" Julia asked.

"Oh, didn't I tell you I don't like that guy?" Jayden sarcastically said.

Julia pressed her lips but didn't say anything anymore. These past few days she and Jayden are often arguing. Every time Kookie is eating lunch with us, Jayden eats with his friends from his department.

"Why do you hate Kookie?" I asked Jayden.

"I don't hate him," he said, "I just don't like him. That's different."

Julia rolled her eyes, "You're just envious of him."

"What, me, envious? Never," he said and finished his food. "I'm going. I got something to look for in the library."

"Look at him," Julia said as we watch Jayden walk away. "He gets pissed whenever we're talking about Kookie. Can't he still accept him for you?"

"He's just being OA, don't mind him," I said and continued eating.

"Ah, right, Seanne, can I ask something about Yerin?"

I looked at Julia, "What is it?"

"Is she okay? I mean, you haven't noticed anything wrong with her whenever you're in the dorm?"

I thought for a while. "She seemed down since last week. And apart from that one time I saw her sleep in until 7AM, there's nothing in particular."

Julia nodded.

"Why?"

"Well, we keep noticing she's somewhat out of her usual self. You know, she seemed to be always in deep thought, and she lost weight too, I think."

"I always see her eat biscuits, though." I recalled seeing a can of milk biscuits on her table. "She's eating every time I see her."

"Really? Maybe I'm just imagining it," Julia grinned and continued eating.

But what she asked made me think about Yerin. That evening when I came to the dorm, I saw my roommate sleeping already. It's only 7:30PM.

I quickly changed into my pajamas and climbed up my bed. Just in time, Kookie called.

"Hey," he sounded tired.

"You okay?" I asked as I looked at Yerin's bed. She seemed sound asleep. No need for me to go out.

"Uhuh," but he sounded like he isn't. "I'm still in the practice room."

"Until when are you staying there?"

"I don't know, maybe the usual."

I sighed. The usual is until 2 or 3AM. "You got to rest too, Kookie. What of you get sick? You've been working so much for the past weeks."

I heard him chuckle. "You know what, Seanne, I really love it when I hear you're being worried about me."

"Of course, I can do that much for you," I muttered. "Tomorrow's Friday. Would you go to class?"

"I think so, I was absent the whole week, I need to catch up."

"Don't worry, I already talked to our professors." I stared at the ceiling. Two lizards are having a date near the light bulb. Lizards even got time to see each other... and here we are, only talking at night through calls. Not being able to see each other...
