I popped the last bite of the donut in my mouth and took my drink before giving a last look at the horizon. The greying orange hue was gradually being overcome by the darkness, and few stars are becoming more visible in the sky. As much as I would like to stay here in the rooftop, I can't because I need to check the files Julia said she'd send me after class.

So, with mind at ease and thinking of what I should grab for dinner, I went down to my room. But I was still holding my doorknob when I felt my phone vibrating.

Oh shoot, who could be calling me? Dad, Kookie, Jayden, or Julia? I crossed my fingers that it isn't either of the first two.

"Sheez," I breathed as I see my phone. I swiped to accept, "Dad?"

"Seanne, where are you?" he sounds like I can't say no to whatever he's about to tell me.

"In my dorm," I answered.

"See me at my office," he commanded.

"Why?"

"Do I need a reason to see my daughter?"

I sighed, "Right now?"

"Yes."

"Okay. I'll head over there. Bye." I hung up and turned my back from my door.

What could Dad be telling me that he needs to see me personally? Would it be about Mom's concern? I hope they didn't talk after Mom went to me, because normally, Dad just agrees with whatever Mom tells him to do.

I was at the fourth floor when five students who looked like my seniors entered. I moved to the corner to give them space.

"—have you seen the photo?"

"Yes! Omg, I knew it's him!"

"Are you sure it's him in the car?"

"Yeah! Some even uploaded his photo getting out of it."

My ears widened at their topic. Who could they be talking to? I hope it's not Kookie—

"—Alistair went to a motel and he's not yet going out 'til now!"

"MOTEL?!" I exclaimed and they looked at me.

"Hey, she's her PA, right?" one of them asked another.

"N-No, I'm not," I said and walked out first the moment the elevator opened.

WTH is that guy thinking? OMO. Did he just go to a motel with—with—NO WAY.

I ran outside the dorm, while getting my phone. Then I saw it. His message.

"In trouble? What kind of trouble is that?!" The message was sent two hours ago. Why didn't he call me instead of texting?

I dialed his number. After a few rings, he answered. "Seanne—"

"Where are you?!" I said and stopped a taxi then get inside. "Where are you?!" I repeated.
