Seanne Park once considered music as her life. But after her parents separated, Seanne started keeping away from the very craft that she once love more than anything else.

She still hasn't changed this habit of doodling on random pages of her notebook.
I smiled as I leisurely flip the pages of Seanne's notebook which she left on her desk. When we were in high school, her notes are full of doodles and scribbles--mostly food, animals, song lyrics, or...
my name.
I sighed and put the notebook inside my bag.
At least I now have a reason to see her. I hope we can talk longer. I have so many things I want to tell her... and ask, too.
I made my way through the canteen. Students are throwing me glances as I walk, some are greeting me, but my attention is focused on the table at the far corner. I saw Julia gave me a nervous smile as she noticed tha I am walking towards her.
"Hey," she greeted when I approached. She anxiously glanced around her before looking at me, "Uhm, what can I do for you?"
"Please tell Seanne if she got time this afternoon, I want to talk to her," I said without any hesitation. I felt someone pass behind me. When I looked, it was Jayden's grumpy face that I saw. I smiled at him.
"Tsh. What do you want to see Seanne for?" he asked loudly.
I smirked. He is still as trouble-maker as before. "Not your concern, Jayden."
His smirk vanished, to be swapped with a scowl. "She won't see you, so fck off okay?"
"And who are you to decide that?"
"Just tell me what you wanna say and I'll relay it to her," he snapped, suddenly standing.
A tensed silence rang inside the canteen. Some students stopped eating to watch, those who were outside went in to see what's happening.
I stepped closely to Jayden. Julia doesn't know whether to pull any of us down or stand between us.
"I already told you to stop going near Seanne, right?" Jayden said in an undertone.
"I can't be stopped by you, you know that."
"But--" he was about to speak when his gaze fell behind me. I looked back and saw Seanne.
She's frowning, confusion and curiosity on her face as she walked towards us.
"What's going on?" she asked us three. When no one answered, she looked at me. "Why are you here?" Then at Jayden, "Are you fighting?"
"Tss. Let's go and eat somewhere," Jayden began amd tried to take Seanne's arm, but I stood between them, my back on Jayden.
"I just want to talk to you, Seanne," I said while looking at her eyes.
She avoided my gaze, and instead looked at her friends. "Order some food for me. I'll just talk to---"
