A thunderous frown appeared on Jade's face as he pulled Sapphire away from Ace.
"What are you doing to Sapphire?" Jade started.
"What do you mean by that? We're friends." Ace explained.
"Don't be like that. This is a misunderstanding." Sapphire interfered, trying to stop Jade from causing any argument.
"I mean... You don't even know him. Well, he's one of Gabby's spon-sors." She stammered as she explained."Gabby's spon-sors?" Jade looked at him with so much anger burning through but he tried not to show it.
"Hey, naughty Ace! Since when have you ever sponsored idol singers?" Curiosity laced Jade's eyes as he asked.
With this, Sapphire turned to him, surprised.
"Ace? You mean he's your cousin, the Ace you mentioned to me the other day? So are you Mr. Ace, sir?" She asked with a distrusting look.
"Yes but..." Ace tried to explain but Sapphire cut into his words, abruptly.
"Is that why you never gave me your business card?"
"So this is how you decided to approach my girlfriend?!" Jade fired at Ace, sounding kind of rude.
Sapphire turned to him, wondering where that tune was coming from. As it is, he's been so kind and friendly ever since she'd signed the contract and accepted to date him.
Sapphire's heard raced as she stared at Jade with curiosity. Jade watched her in the same manner as they both shared an eye contact.
"Go inside, I'll call you later." Jade grabbed her arm and pulled her towards her apartment but Sapphire jerked off.
"Wait a second. What are you hiding from me?" She narrowed her eyes at him. I feel like I of my questions, answered before I head in. And if you don't answer than for me, I'll personally ask your cousin, Ace to answer them for me!"
She fired with a stealthy look. With this, Jade explained everything and how he'd taken out the last page of the contract so she wouldn't have to know about Ace.
After a long thought, Sapphire let out and heavy breath as she turned back to the brothers.
"Wait, so what you're saying is... that you're not the only one mentioned in your Grandfather's will and that Mr. Ace Damien too was mentioned there? But you, Mr. Jade Alejandro completely deceived me in order to take advantage of the situation and you, Mr. Ace, only acted nice to me because of the will? I knew something was up!" She cried out, painfully.
"You're a great teacher and you have a good personality, Miss Sapphire." Ace muttered his an apologetic voice.
"Well, I'm aware of that." She replied him rudely and turned to Jade who was totally speechless.
"I'm so sorry. Really. I only started doing this since I wanted to know what kind of person you were."
Jade rolled his eyes at his cousin with so much anger and hatred. It was because of him today, that Sapphire won't even look at him. And she even called him Jade Alejandro, his full name as if they've never had anything special, together.
"I never expected things to have come to this. As it is, you've been a good friend so far." Ace added.
"No, that's not everything!" She hissed at him. You intended to deceive me from the very start so what friendship are you talking about?!
"Well.. that couldn't be helped."
"Wow! You two are really cousin's, aren't you?!" Sapphire asked resting her hands on her hips, teacher-like.
