“Allow me to apologize once more. And if I were to offer any excuses at all, it’d be that... I was curious.”

“You were curious?” Sapphire frowned at his reason while Jade was waiting at a distance.

“I don’t want you to admit this, but... Jade feels like an unbreakable wall sometimes. I was curious about the woman he was dating, you see.”

Sapphire let out a soft breath of relief.
“Yes, that is understandable. But you know, he may seem like a wall, but he’s not unbreakable. He’s just stubborn.” She explained.

“Pardon?”

“What I’m trying to say is... Jade is not as bad as you think. Within his stubbornness is a dives meekness. And... he’s not a perfect person, either.” She explained. “But anyway, you’re acknowledging that you did something wrong, right?”

“Of course, it was a huge mistake on my part. And I’m sincerely sorry.” There was earnest in his voice.

“Alright, I appreciate that.” Sapphire replied him with a smile. People should apologize if they did something wrong.an it’s fine as long as you’re sincerely sorry. So... I’ll forgive you. But in exchange... She took a step closer to him and talked in a whisper.
About the Cultural Festival Concert at your department store... Can you invite my Gabby, just one more time? He’s starting over again as a trainee, so it’ll become easier for him to debut if his recognition goes up. I just want him to get all the love he can before he gets to university next semester.

Okay.. that’s right. Also, I’m thinking if changing B.B Mall’s model. I’ll try my best in that regard when the time comes. Ace assured, which made Sapphire super excited.

Thank you! Thank you so much, Ace." She smiled and gave him a tight handshake.

“Hey! Hey!! Heyy!!! That’s enough closeness between you two...” Jade walked towards them.

As they turned to him.

“What are you doing?” He asked her.

“Thanking him, of course.” She replied him as their hands separated.

“I’ll be taking my leave now.” Ace, for the first time, wire a welcoming smile.

“Yes, goodbye.”
She bade him. Thereafter, he went into his car and zoomed off into the bush streets.

Noticing her smile, Jade wore a look at Sapphire.

“What’s it now?” She asked him, noticing the frown on his worrisome face.

“How come you gave me so much hard time but accepted his apology so readily?”

“Because Ace is better at dealing with people than you are. He’s not having anger issues like you.” She confessed as Jade eyed her.

“It’s not like I’ll ever run into him again. So, of course. I should accept his apology.

Well, yeah. You won’t be needing to see him again.

At The Chairman’s Mansion

“Wait, CEO Jade said he’s really going to attend the party?” Mr. Tim started.

“Yeah. That’s why I told you Sapphire is special. The chairman pointed. It’s the first time since he left, three years ago. That he’s coming to our company’s anniversary party.

“You didn’t threaten him with something else, did you?”

About to sit, the Chairman’s vision suddenly went blurry as he stumbled on the chair, but he quickly leaned to his expensive wooden table for support.
