***In Lucas's Office.
"I received a report about that can't we just solve this issue with money and stop making noise. Lucas furrowed his eyes at Mr. Charles, in all earnestly.
I'll give the victim and her family a nice sum for their suffering." He assured."Kidnap is a serious crime. So is poisoning. Jade is not arresting your daughter for the kidnap case, for now. She drugged him sir, which would have taken his life. This is a serious crime. Your company would be investigated."
"I know, Attorney Lucas. But still, is there anything in this world that money can't solve? Come on, we've been business partners with BB Company for over 20 years now. Can't we just sweep this case under the carpet and forget about it?"
"We could but Jade isn't going to overlook this, this time around. The chairman won't, either."
Mr. Charles adjust his necktie, nervously.
"I'll take care of that myself. So make sure that no police report is filed. It won't be good for either of us if this gets blown out of proportion. Isn't that right, Attorney Lucas?"

At Jade's Office.
Jade was on call with Lucas.
"So he doesn't care as long as we don't repost to the police, eh? Okay, tell him we'll definitely be doing that, then. Jade replied over the phone and slapped the screen on the table. He looked so pissed off with everything.
'Despite the fact that his daughter almost killed me, he still wants to use that as an advantage to blackmail Blue Bird's company?' Jade swished out in anger.
Mr. Tim walked in with a brown envelope in his hand. He gave it to Jade immediately as he brought out some documents.
"We've found evidence that Charles Chemicals has been buying BB Mall's shares. They're also involved in importing and exporting illegal drugs to support their business sales."
[Stock Price Report of Companies With BB Group]
Jade's eyes scrolled through the documents. He could just believe it.
"This is why BB Mall's share prices have been changing at an alarming rate? My uncle has done great so far. So, Charles Chemicals is buying up stockpiling BB Mall shares. Plus these drug business? How amusing. I didn't realize Charles Chemicals was so prone to getting distracted."
"No wonder they go lots of money to buy up so many shares. And the chairman never knew..."
"I don't think so, Boss. Instead, shouldn't the main branch handle this? I mean the investigations."
"That's right! The American prosecutors and the Financial Supervisory service aren't idiots. And this is so bad that even we've noticed it. I'm sure they've already begun looking into their governmental documents and analyzing their stock trades. Who knows if the drugs Charles Chemicals produce are safe as well? All thanks to Chloe for exposing her dad. Even BB Company's shares may get affected because of uncle. But who cares... The ball is in the Chairman's court to decide."
"What do you mean, Mr. CEO?"
"We'll have to nip it in the bud, Mr. Tim." Jade assured. We'll have BB Company itself do a thorough investigation on this as well, along side the prosecution. That's what will do. And say that we'll readily comply with the investigation." Jade's eyes glared back at the documents.

After lunch, Dylan accompanied Sapphire back into her room. They locked it at the back, while Sapphire reduced the volume of the phone. It was just 40% on it. She decided to check the videos. They were about drug importations, killing of some people she thought were innocent.
