Her voice brightened up the room. The audience roared to her in excitement. The four seated judges loved her performance. Ruby walked out of the audition room with a wide smile across her broad face. She had a black, leathery short skirt and a pink, mini-top, on. Ruby's blond hair swept through her shoulder with her 5 feet black boots that made her little taller. Her lips were bull-red and she had a smokey eye makeup done, which fitted her perfectly. About to leave, she met Gabby. He was holding a bouquet of daisy flowers.
"Gabriel Anderson!" She called his name.
Gabby looked up, his eyes met hers."Nice to meet you again. It's been twice in a week now, like seriously?!" Ruby walked up to him in excitement and wrapped her arms over his shoulder.
Gabby felt butterflies piercing in his stomach as he gently pulled himself from her tight hug.
"Nice to bomb into you like this. Are you sure you aren't stalking me?" She asked, tilting her head closely towards his.
"No..... Why would I ever?" He stammered at the joke.
"Awwwwn... You look so cute. Too bad you missed my audition?" She whined like a baby.
"Don't worry Ruby. I'll watch it on television. Perhaps, I only came to meet a colleague." He explained.
"Where are you heading to if... I may ask." She went stunned by her own words.
"I'm going visit someone at Mayo Clinic." He muttered. "My role model."
"Really? Wow! I'm going to Mayo Clinic too. She jerked off in excitement. "Come on, let's go! I'll drop you of-"
"No, don't worry. I'll just take a taxi." He insisted.
"Don't be so shy now, Gabby. We're friends!" She clinged herself to his arm like a koala bear with so much persuasion and titillation.
Shovering him to where her car was parked. Ruby swiftly opened the door and pushed him inside before going to the drivers seat.
"Use your seatbelt, Gabby." She instructed before starting the car. Dumbfounded at her attitude, Gabby stared at her, blankly.
Speechlessly.
With this, Ruby pulled herself on his body and stretching out to reach the seat belt. She buckled it for him and turned on the speaker.
Read me slowly,
Word by word.
Line by line.
With my lips on yours.
When song and letters are written and wasted.
When heartbreaks and tears are all forgotten instead.
Would you be my girl, girl girl girl girl girl...
My girl, girl?Dried roses,
betwixt our soul pages.
Music and lyrics,
Twists and dances.
When it's dark and moonless.
Would I still be this hopeless?
Would you be my girl, girl girl girl girl girl...
My girl, girl?Listening to the blaring music gave Gabby goosepimples. It was the first time he'd ever seen or heard anyone play his music and singing it so perfectly. Ruby had a beautiful voice. She hummed to the music while driving, it felt as if she was alone. Free and high-spirited. Gabby blushed at her over and over again.
"You listen to my music?" He asked, excitedly.
"Come on, Gabby! I'm your number 1 fan, I told you! I listen to your music like... Every minute of the day. I sang 'April blues' at the audition today and you missed!" She painfully retorted.
"Awwwwn... I won't miss your next audition. I promise." Gabby smiled with the happiness welling up inside of him.
Getting to the hospital, Ruby parked her red car in the parking lot and quickly grabbed her handbag. Come on, let's go. She encouraged with a bright smile as Gabby held the daisy flowers closely.
