Jihyo and Dahyun feel the thick tension in the air as soon as they walk into the restaurant.
Something is definitely off.
Mina and Nayeon are sitting across an oblivious Tzuyu and Chaeyoung. To anyone looking everything may seem fine at first glance.
But Jihyo and Dahyun can always read these two like the back of their hand.
"Hi, we're sorry, our shoot ran late."
Jihyo takes a seat between Chaeyoung and Tzuyu and Dahyun sits next to Mina.
"Would you like a drink ladies? It's on the house."
The waiter, quite a handsome man in his early twenties asks the group. More at Nayeon specifically.
"That's really sweet. But no thank you."
Jihyo sees Nayeon giving him her award winning smile. Mina tenses by her side.
That tells Dahyun and Jihyo what is happening.
The tension becomes thicker when they bump into Min on their way out.
He is on a date with some hot blonde.
Nayeon looks at Mina who looks dejected. It is normal to not get over someone you have been in a relationship for such a long time, she empathises.
Only Dahyun and Jihyo know Mina has looked like that even before she bumped into Min.
It finally happens on the tenth day before the end of their contract marriage.
They're bickering about something insignificant really. They both know they should stop. It's like they want to divert this tension, frustration they're feeling into an argument.
"I don't have to like girl groups just because you're in them." Mina stands with her hands on her hips.
"You can ask braid boy to start a boy group so you can fan girl all you want." Nayeon sneers.
They are standing really close to each other, faces slightly flushed with anger.
"Just have sex already."
Momo mutters under her breath.
She quietly leaves the balcony and walks to her car wondering what on earth made her ask them what their favourite music group is.
It isn't really her fault, she could have asked them about toilet papers and they'd have still found a way to be at each other's throat.
"His name is not braid boy, for the last time."
They stare at each other, unwilling to be the first one to step back.
"I don't care. Look at me. Do I look like I give a fuck?"
Nayeon takes another step closer to Mina trying to be intimidating.
"Obviously you do. Considering you can't stop speaking about him." Mina smirks slowly, which only agitates the older girl even more. "One could even say you're obsessed."
That does it.
"I'm obsessed? That's rich coming from someone writhing under him, moaning his name not so long ago."
Mina is stunned speechless. She can't believe Nayeon is bringing this up again. How immature.
"I'm done talking to you."
She stomps her feet and turns around and Nayeon chuckles a little when the soft stomp doesn't have the dramatic effect Mina has been aiming for.
The younger girl huffs and struts away towards the mansion.
Nayeon can't seem to look away from her retreating back.
It is late in the evening when Nayeon changes into a white bugs bunny sweatshirt and black joggings.
She lazes around the house and waits for Mina to show up so she can apologize.
After a while she decides she has nothing to apologise for.
Mina knows she is in a girl group and yet chose to offend her by naming some boy group as her favourite.
"It's time to eat."
She tries to catch Romeo who is running away from her like he is on a bloody mission.
Nayeon doesn't watch where she is going as she runs behind him or she'd have had the sense to knock.
She rushes into a room after Romeo and stops only when she hears a soft gasp.
When she lifts her eyes, she finds Mina trying to hide her modesty behind a face towel that leaves little to imagination.
Romeo runs off into another room.
Nayeon knows she should apologise and leave.
But she can't look away.
She finds the water droplets falling from the blonde's wet hair trailing along the length of her body fascinating.
She should really just go. But her feet is carrying her forward. Like she's bewitched.
Mina watches her with those big eyes, her lips slightly parted. But she isn't saying anything.
Nayeon's eyes never leave the younger girl's as she gets closer.
She stops a couple of inches away from Mina, feeling an overwhelming urge to touch her.
She reaches for her hand and runs her fingers along the wet skin on her arm.
"Nayeon."
Mina whimpers when her fingers stop at her bottom lip, tracing them.
Nayeon is sure she isn't imagining the desire in the blonde's eyes.
"Mina."
She whispers, moving closer to her and when the younger girl doesn't move away, she places a hand around her waist and uses the other one to cup her cheeks.
Mina's heart beats faster and faster until Nayeon is capturing her lips with her own.
And then it forgets to beat.
And everything goes quiet.
Except the sound of their lips mashing.
It's delicate at first, hesitant and seeking permission, until its not. It's soft and sweet, hot and breathy and Mina swears she's never been thoroughly kissed like this.
She pushes back, her mouth open, inviting and wanton and Nayeon slips a tongue inside her mouth.
Mina feels her toes curl.
A sweltering heat rises to her cheeks, traveling towards her abdomen, starting a low hum of fire deep in the core of her being, as their tongues duel. Her arms goes around Nayeon's neck as she tilts her head, pulling the older girl deeper into the kiss.
The towel drops to the floor.
Their kiss grows in intensity.
Nayeon peels her lips away to lay kisses on the column of her throat.
Mina lets out a low moan.
They pull apart slightly, their eyes dark and breath shallow.
They both want this.
There is no mistaking the desire.
This, is the point of no return.
