"Nayeon-chan." Mina lays soft kisses on each and every one of her fingertips.

"Mmh." Nayeon hums.

What are you thinking about?"

You.

But Nayeon can't tell her that.

That she is the one always on her mind.

They've been married for a year and for better or for worse, Mina has always occupied her every waking thought.

"This and that."

Mina pulls Nayeon's arm around her stomach.

Nayeon sighs into her shoulder.

Can she tell Mina that she wishes she can stop the time? That she wishes they can relive this day over and over again in a loop and never see Sunday.

That she wishes Mina would tell her she doesn't want to leave.

She lets her palm cup Mina's breast. Wanting to feel her. Wanting, needing, to be closer.

When Mina gently arches back to her, she moves her hair to a side and lays a heated kiss there.

"What are you thinking about?"

Mina is thinking about how much she is going to miss the older girl. How even the thought of missing her is hurting her. That she is dreading tomorrow.

That she wishes Nayeon would just ask her to stay.

She shudders when expert fingers roll her nipple and pinch them slightly. She reaches behind her and wraps her hands around Nayeon's head pulling her closer.

She wants to tell her how much she loves her. How much she needs her.

Instead she says,

"Nothing much."

as she shamelessly grinds her center into the singer's insistent hand.

Nayeon kisses along the length of her neck, one hand cupping the the blonde's chest and the other curling deep inside her, wanting to get to the core, to the core of her being.

Never wanting to let go.

"Nayeon."

Mina comes with a whimper.

When her rapidly beating heart steadies a little, she turns around, pulling the older girl for a bruising kiss.

When Nayeon makes a move to descend down her body, she stops her with a gentle kiss to her forehead.

The older girl wonders how Mina can turn a moment so sexually charged, into something so tender and affectionate in an instant.

"My turn."

Mina pins Nayeon's wandering hands over her head and kisses her.

This isn't tender anymore.

It is primal and needy and has Nayeon thrusting her hips upwards, has her world spinning on its axis as Mina disappears between her legs, under the covers.

"You need to tell her you are in love with her."

Mina turns her neck so fast she is surprised it hasn't snapped.

"What are you talking about?"

Jeongyeon points at Nayeon with her eyes.

Mina is packing the last of her things and Nayeon often watches her with eyes that's full of sorrow.

"We're your friends Mina. There's no need to pretend."

Mina isn't ready to cry.

This isn't how her last day with Nayeon is supposed to go.

"Tell her and what? She doesn't love me. I don't want to be a burden to her anymore."

Nayeon frowns as Mina leans forward and rests her forehead on the wooden door of the closet.

Sana looks at Nayeon who is looking at the blonde hesitantly, unsure what to do.

The older girl can't hear them, but she looks sad just seeing Mina upset. And that gives Sana hope.

"You wouldn't know until you try."

She has a feeling that Nayeon is just as much as in love with her best friend.

The members come around for dinner. They aim to keep the conversation light but the air is heavy with something so forlorn and depressing.

Chaeyoung tries to change it.

"Isn't it funny that it's actually your one year anniversary on Monday but you'd be signing your divorce papers?"

She is only joking but one look at Nayeon and Mina's face tells her she has said the wrong thing.

Jihyo shakes her head at Chaeyoung silently asking her to avoid that particular line of conversation.

Everyone leaves around midnight.

Mina shuts the door and turns around only to come face to face with Nayeon.

Their eyes lock on to each other for what seems like eternity.

Nayeon wraps her arms around her when the ache in Mina's chest threatens to devour her. She has never been more sure that someone can die from a broken heart.

"Do you want to go for a walk with me?"

The younger girl nods, resting her head on Nayeon's shoulder.

They walk side by side in the garden, their joined hands dangling between them.

It is a chilly night in March and Mina shivers slightly from the cold.

"Come here."

Nayeon pulls her closer, finding the distance between them unbearable.

"You'll be ok right?" Her hand threads through silky blonde hair, cupping the younger girl's head.

Mina feels her throat tighten and lips trembling as she tries to hold in a sob.

Tears form swiftly in her pained eyes but she doesn't let them fall.

She nods her head, afraid that she won't be able to hold back her tears if she opens her mouth to answer.

She pulls back a little from Nayeon's chest and smiles reassuringly at her when she sees the older girl's brows crease with concern.

"We'll be ok."

Nayeon mutters as her full lips plant a tender kiss on Mina's forehead, like she needs to say those words out loud just to see if she can believe them herself.
