They are supposed to have a massive public fight in a few hours. But all Nayeon wants to do is snuggle into the blonde next to her.
Mina stirs when she feels warm breath tickle her neck.
"Good morning." Nayeon's eyes are soft. Softer than the morning light filtering through the blinds.
"Good morning." Mina pulls the covers, trying to hide her modesty.
It's funny really because Nayeon is sure she has every inch of Mina's body memorised. But she doesn't comment on how shy the younger girl is and instead scoops down to give her slow, languid kiss.
Mina's eyes flutter shut because all she feels is Nayeon. The taste on her tongue from last night, the scent still lingering on her fingers, the way she carefully and thoroughly kisses her, it is overwhelming.
When Nayeon's handsome hands sneak between her legs, stroking an insatiable fire, she pulls away breathlessly.
Mina's eyes points at the bedside clock telling Nayeon they can't start something they can't finish.
Nayeon sighs and reluctantly rolls on to her back.
It is time to put on a show. She wishes she can stay in this little bubble with Mina instead.
She doesn't know what this thing with Mina is, but she isn't ready to let her go.
This is more than physical attraction, more than a crush, that much she is certain and if only Mina shows any indication that she reciprocates even a percentage of these feelings wrecking havoc inside her chest, she swears she won't let her walk out of her sight.
Mina pull the covers to the top of her breast and bends and picks up the nightshirt off the floor. She gets off the bed using the nightshirt to hide her modesty and clears her throat shyly when she sees Nayeon watching her.
Nayeon is amused at how bashful the younger girl is being. She turns around giving her some privacy.
"You can look now."
She likes how snug her shirt looks on Mina, how it doesn't really hide her wonderful arse, how she can still see the peak of her breasts under the transparent material.
It stirs something in her abdomen.
She shakes her head to clear the cloud of arousal.
Who knew she had such a high sexual drive.
It is surprising even to her. That she can't stop wanting the blonde every minute she is in her proximity.
Every thing Mina does make her want her.
Even an act as simple as tucking a hair behind the ears turned her on.
And she is positive, this unadulterated desire and the constant need to touch her, feel her, is going to drive her mad.
And it reflects on her face.
Which makes Jihyo roll her eyes in amusement.
"We don't fit Mina."
Nayeon should be yelling. She is yelling. Atleast her tone is that. But her expression is whole another thing.
She looks at Mina like she's devouring her with her eyes.
Like Jihyo, Mina doesn't miss the look on Nayeon's face either. Her cheeks flush brightly and Jihyo hopes the tabloids will assume it's because she is angry, not because she is blushing.
"This is not working out, is it?" Mina asks softly.
How will it if Nayeon won't stop eye fucking Mina and Mina won't stop making moon eyes at Nayeon. Jihyo really hasn't come across two people without a fucking clue like them.
"Definitely not working out."
Nayeon steps in closer to the younger girl enjoying the deepening blush on her face.
"Please don't fight in public."
Jihyo steps between them. Truth be told she feels like she has just stopped Nayeon from tearing away Mina's clothes.
She pokes Nayeon in the ribs.
That seems to work for a while, snap her back to attention.
"We're so done."
Nayeon utters, staring at Mina's lips.
"We are." Mina swoons.
The newspapers that came out on Friday thankfully don't catch onto their body language.
"Is it over between Mina and Nayeon for good?"
"Patrons hear the love birds calling it off."
"Will Nayeon fight for this love?"
Mina laughs dryly at the news.
Nayeon is recording with the girls. Sana is helping her pack her bags. They are retrieving some coat from Nayeon's closet.
Mina's eyes prickle with tears when they land on a particular fur coat that once held a tiny rose petal.
She longs to see Nayeon as she suddenly finds herself unable to breathe. She excuses herself to the garden.
As if the universe is listening to her, she collides softly into Nayeon who has just arrived through the front door.
She falls into her for a bone crushing hug. She lets her body sag, her muscles become loose.
Nayeon doesn't question her. She holds her in her strong arms, rocking her gently.
And despite the heaviness in her chest, Mina's heart flutters at the feeling of Nayeon's body pressing against the length of her own.
She sinks into the warmth the older girl offers, appreciating the silence.
Because she can never tell Nayeon what she feels.
Not when Nayeon doesn't feel that way.
