He narrows his eyes at the happy girl before him who's smiling with a dreamy look in her eyes.
They are having lunch in his office and all his colleagues have taken an immense liking to the singer who visits him from time to time.
He would have never believed in a million years that they will get here, considering their history, considering she hurt the one thing he loved most in this world, his precious daughter.
And it has all started with flowers.
"You need to stop."
He walks into the mansion, annoyed Nayeon has done it again.
"Stop what Oto-san?"
Nayeon looks at him innocently.
He knows he should find this behaviour irritating, but the young Korean is smiling up at him with those puppy dog eyes of hers and he can't help but think it's endearing.
"You need to stop sending me flowers. You need to stop writing apology notes. You need to stop bombarding my phone with meaningful quotes about in law relationships."
Nayeon smiles at him with a cheeky glint in her eye.
He notes that it is impossible to be mad at someone so adorable.
"Seriously my colleagues are starting to think I'm having an affair behind my wife's back."
He drops to Nayeon's couch and looks sternly at the girl.
She stares right back at him.
It only takes two seconds for them to dissolve into giggles.
"She put six packets Oto-chan. Six into my coffee."
He still doesn't understand the importance behind some sugar packets.
"Oh my god." He gasps when a thought suddenly dawns on him. "Are you diabetic or something? Are you telling me Mina tried to kill you?"
Nayeon throws her head back and laughs because the expression on the oldest Myoui's face is priceless.
"No," She says through hiccups as her laughter dies down. "I always take my coffee that way and she remembered."
He finally understands the dreamy look behind those dark eyes.
She's almost there. Over.
Nayeon rolls her eyes. Why is Momo acting like they are in a spy thriller?
You're sending me texts. There's no need to say over.
Shut up Im. Almost reached destination. Over.
She looks around, scouring the area for paps. No one is around, she sighs in relief.
All clear. Over.
She slaps a palm to her forehead when she realises she's said over too. She is going to kill Momo. Someone that contagious should not be allowed to roam free.
Her heart beats in her throat as she waits in Angel home. She wants to see Mina because it is her birthday.
She glances at the silver necklace the younger girl gifted her for her last birthday. She clutches it gently in her hands, feeling slightly better, as if it gives her some mental strength.
Mina watches Momo who looks oddly nervous. She is texting someone, is fidgety when she demands who has her attention.
"My boss." Momo squeaks.
