"What happened? Why do you three look like zombies?" Terence asked just as Hope, Cherie and Henrietta made their way into the dining area, "I mean, not like that's new for you Henrietta, you look like a zombie everyday but, what's wrong girls?"

If eyes could kill, the three of them would be guilty of his premature death.

Like what did he mean by that silly question, when he was the very reason for the terrible nights they had?

Through the night neither Hope nor Cherie could sleep. They spent the night trying to figure out why Mister Terence had picked Henrietta over Ivanna. Yes, the heart wants what it wants but, couldn't the heart see how much they had invested in setting the 'compass' between Terence and Ivanna? The long hours they spent in teaching her secrets in making recipes that Terence loved or introducing her to all his favorite television programs, movies, songs and hobbies. They were could've sworn it would work out in their favor. but, after yesterday's discovery they were beyond frustrated that all their effort to try and make them a couple had failed. He just had to go and fall for Henrietta.

Like what kind of a stupid heart did he have?

Henrietta other hand, spent part of her night fuming and cussing Hope, Cherie and Terence. She thought the whole thing was a sham created by Terence as some kind of payback or something and she regretted falling stupidly right into it. She also spent the remaining part of her night plotting a wicked payback on the three of them even in her dreams. Their deeds were not to go unpunished, never!

"Aren't you people hearing me?" Terence said to them and they responded by walking away. Terence shrugged and grabbed himself a cup to drink grape juice.

Terence was in a chirpy mood this beautiful morning. He had a wonderful night. He had faced his fears and found the courage to pass the gift he prepared for Ivanna. Today had to be the best Valentine day he had ever had in his lifetime. Now all he wanted to do was to see the smile on Ivanna's face whe,n she came out.

"Hi," Ivanna muttered appearing in the scene.

He quietly tapped her hand, "Hey good morning."

"Hi," she answered and turned away to serve herself breakfast. Ivanna wasn't having her usual pleasant morning; baby was stressing her out.

Terence who was ignored of this fact, was reading her reaction as some kind of displeasure for the gift. Now his once bright morning seemed cloudy.

As Henrietta drank her tea, she caught a glimpse of Terence picking at his food and stealing glances at Ivanna. She cussed under her breathe when she realized he must've been looking at Ivanna expecting some sort of reaction to the present he sent her.

"Is something wrong?" Ivanna abruptly turned to Terence.

"What?" He asked with his brows raised.

"Why are looking at me like that? And since when do you not eat?"

In fact, it seemed Ivanna was suddenly irritated by him especially with the sharp tone she spoke with. "Oh, was I staring?" He chuckled nervously, "must have been lost in thought or something," he averted his gaze from the people at the table to the plate of food on the table.

"Oh okay," she sighed and resumed eating.

Henrietta suddenly felt guilty, as she watched the pair. She was the only one who knew what was really going on between them.
