"Hey, Good morning," Henrietta whispered to Ivanna, "Ivy baby, you need to wake up and eat breakfast."

Ivanna groaned, "Good morning sister."

"Yeah dear," Answered Henrietta as she gently patted her arm, "How are you feeling to-"

Henrietta's phone rang and on the caller ID was her man or as she saved his number; TEDDY ❤.

She smiled and picked the call. "Hey Babe, good morning." Then she walked off to the dresser.

Ivanna watched in silence her sisters every move during the call, she could tell she was happy.

"I miss you too." Henrietta giggled.

The joy on Henrietta's face and the softness of her voice was just enough to make her sick.

Ivanna jumped to her feet and left the room. It had only been minutes since she woke up and she was sure there was nothing good about this morning.

"Good morning Ivanna," her fellow musketeers greeted as she made her way to the breakfast table. She acknowledged their greeting with a nod and sat down.

The two of them were busy setting up the table for breakfast and tried to make small talk with her, but she blatantly ignored them. They figured it was the pregnancy making her moody and so they gave her space.

"Is that my Ivanna?" Terence asked as he strolled in.

She couldn't help but smile at Terence, "Morning Terence."

"Ehen, that's the Ivanna I know. That frown was making you look like an imposter. How are you?" Terence asked rubbing her upper arm, "You look slightly pale, I hope all is well?"

She exhaled deeply and smiled. One of things she didn't regret about her pregnancy was having a friend like Terence. He understood her and never found it hard to read her. She loved it.

She held his hand and said, "I'm-"

"Sorry for the delay guys," Henrietta announced her presence.

Like a metal to a magnet, Terence suddenly appeared at her side.

"Hey beautiful," He whispered softly to her.

"Hey handsome." She answered throwing her arms around him and he wrapped his around her waist.

They shared a kiss and the two musketeers couldn't help but gush over the couple.

Ivanna didn't like the scenery playing out in front of her. For reasons she could not explain, it irked her and she found herself loosing her appetite inspite of the appealing aroma of the platter before her.

She stood up and left the table.

"Ivy baby where are you going?" Henrietta asked still very much in Terence's arms. She only tilted her head sideways to see her sister.

Ivanna averted her gaze, "I forgot that I promised to have breakfast with Miriam today."

Ivanna was a good liar but Henrietta had always been able to see right through her lies.

"Okay then," Henrietta said, "make sure to greet her for me."

Ivanna sighed, she should known that her sister was too blinded by love to even care to see if what Ivanna said was true or not.

At Mariam's place...

"Miriam, babe how far? Where you dey? I dey for front of your yard, but, I never see you," Ivanna said

"You dey my house? Haba nah, why you no tell me say you dey come? Guy, I no even dey PH. I dey Lagos on a baecation with-"

"Is the key at the normal spot?" Ivanna cut in, not interested in hearing anything about Miriam and her lover.
