"Ehen, yesterday some people called saying that our website isn't working because they booked an appointment with us but it isn't reflecting on our system," Henrietta said, "Should we call those guys that set it up for us or wait since Clifford and Gillis are resuming tomorrow?"

"Your fingers are beautiful," Terence replied.

Then he took her left hand in his and lightly caressed it, the feeling of his hands against hers sent a strange sensation across her body, it felt like lightning bolts were sent from her hand to her entire being.

He pressed her hand against his cheeks and she gasped, his soft curly beard against the back of her hand was so sensual she couldn't help but pull away. He was stirring up feelings in her she had never experienced before.

"What?" he quizzed and chuckled at the frown she wore.

"What is what? You're distracting me."

"Me?" he asked gaping, "is it not you that's started it first."

"Eh? Me? I was distracting you?"

"Yes." he nodded.

"When? Is it not you that since we came out here this evening has been complimenting everything on my body. First, it was my eyes," she said counting with her fingers, "my hair, my nightgown, and now my hands. And since I didn't say anything I've just been sitting down here doing my work jejely-"

"Exactly! Exactly!" he exclaimed, "That is exactly how you are distracting me. You're just sitting there and being effortlessly beautiful and not to mention the fact that you're working. Haven't I told you that you look the most beautiful when you are working? Like the way you are just, you know, focused and serious, it's just so sexy." He said, then he ended his statement with an innocent smile.

"So, don't blame me for the distraction, I'm merely returning the favor, my dear Rita," he smirked.

She was dumbfounded while he laughed softly.

After a few seconds, she turned behind her and armed herself with two throw pillows. Immediately he jumped to his feet and ran behind another sofa.

"Why are you running?" she asked slowly rising to her feet, "Eh? Who is pursuing you?

He laughed, "Oya, I'm sorry."

"You? Sorry?" she scoffed as she advanced toward him. "Lie-lie! You will know the meaning of sorry by the time I'm done with you."

He laughed as she began to chase him around the sitting room. She would get close to him at times and before she knew it he was out of her reach. He was light on his feet and was good at dodging the pillows she swung his way.

"But, you know this thing you're doing is not fair because you're the one distracting me. Eh? Na wa oh, how can somebody be so beautiful? It should be illegal-"

"You're still talking!" She shouted and threw the pillow at him.

He dodged it and said, "I mean just look at that face, Omalinchanwa."

"Terence!" she chuckled throwing the second pillow.

He stuck his tongue at her for missing yet another throw before saying, "The way you're missing me whenever you throw that pillow is the same way your beauty is making me miss the point of that business talk you were saying. Eh, ya beauty be making me lose focus."

"Terence!" she groaned stomping her feet. She wasn't upset with him, she found his act funny and was trying her best not to show off her smile as she looked at him.
