Chapter 12: Dangerous acts

Minji was shocked at what she just read. She was thankful that the paparazzi didn't follow her up to Yoohyeon's house. It was Yoohyeon's own space and she doesn't want to ruin it. The CEO sighed and asked Minji.

"Where were you last night? You know that I don't usually care about your personal life but you have an incoming movie. So tell me Minji, even if you give me a vague answer." Minji answered sadly,

"I was at a friend's house, sir." The CEO nodded,

"Bora? Siyeon? Yubin? or Handong?" Minji shook her head.

"No sir. None of them. She's a non-celebrity." The CEO understood it immediately. Minji doesn't want to reveal it since the person is a non-celebrity. The CEO was very considerate and he was the one who found talent in Minji, despite all the other agencies rejecting her. A year after she debuted, the small company that is now one of the top agencies, hired her. Minji decided to tell the CEO the truth about her and Yoohyeon. She stayed here long enough to trust them and this is her second family now. She breathed out,

"Sir. That non-celebrity is…… my girlfriend. Yes, I'm bisexual sir. I was in her house last night and stayed there. I went home this morning since I needed to practice my script. I- I didn't know that there would be paparazzi right outside of my house. I'm really sorry sir. It's okay if you decide to end my contract with you. Just, let me finish my movie and I'll quit." Minji said while trying to hold her tears. The CEO just sighed and said,

"I know, Minji. I know that you're bi. Did you think that we wouldn't know? Especially me? I'm the one who personally hired you. I was your first manager too. Did you think I didn't notice the way you looked at the pretty idols when you're a special mc at those award shows? Did you think I didn’t notice your face whenever you’re going to have kissing scenes with men? And, I'm not mad. I'm not gonna terminate your contract. We already talked before. 3 years right? Then let's finish that 3 years together. If you decide to act again, just know that we're still here. Just be more careful with your girlfriend, okay? I don't want to see your career and hers get ruined." Minji sniffled, unable to hold back the tears. She hugged the CEO, with the CEO patting her back.

"Also, I told you way before to just call me Mr. Kim. Why do you keep calling me sir? It's been more than 10 years, Minji." Minji chuckled between her tears.

"I also want to meet that girlfriend of yours. Let me see if she's worth our pretty Minji. I'll take care of the situation. I'll make sure that it won't damage you or your girlfriend." Minji nodded and thanked the CEO with the lowest bow that she could ever offer. She went inside of the practice rooms and called Yoohyeon. The doctor quickly answered.

"Hey Minji! Minji? Are you okay? Why are you crying?" Yoohyeon asked with worry as the other girl kept sniffling.

"I'm fine now, Yooh. I'm guessing you don't know?" 

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"There was someone outside of my house, assuming it was paparazzi. They saw me leave my house and came back early in the morning. They made a very misleading article about it." Yoohyeon's mouth dropped.

"I'm so so sorry, Minji. I should've let you go home last night. I'm sor- '' Before Yoohyeon could continue, Minji stopped her.

"No, Yooh. It's not your fault. And I'm not crying because of that damn article. I just told our CEO about my sexuality and our relationship. He said he knew, Yooh! He accepted me. He's not gonna terminate my contract. And he's okay with us. He even wants to meet you. I'm crying because I'm happy." Yoohyeon almost cried too

"I- I don't know what to say. Of course, I'll meet with him someday! God…. I don't know how to thank him enough."

"Just love me, Yooh. He said he'll still see if you're worthy of me. You both look alike and when I told him that, he got all cocky and said that you must be pretty. " Minji giggled but that made Yoohyeon nervous. The doctor couldn't form words and Minji laughed
