Chapter 21: Ever?

A few hours later, Yoohyeon woke up. She checked on Minji and saw that she was still asleep. Yoohyeon grabbed her phone and saw a message from Gahyeon.

Gahyeon: I heard that Minji unnie is here and also what happened to you earlier. I took care of your other rounds for the afternoon. Just take a rest and do your last rounds with me later, okay? And go home early too! 

Yoohyeon smiled and thanked Gahyeon. Gahyeon is truly an angel and she couldn't be more glad that Gahyeon chose her to be her mentor. Minji wriggled and groaned. When Yoohyeon placed her hand back on Minji's head, she stopped and calmed down. Minji was just missing her touch. She giggled since Minji looked so cute right now. She had her mouth slightly open and forehead had a frown on it. Yoohyeon eased the frown with her thumb and Minji snuggled in closer. She looked at the time and saw that she had around 30 minutes left before she starts working again. She didn’t want to leave Minji. The way the girl was hugging her too seemed like she didn’t want Yoohyeon to leave too. 

Carefully, Yoohyeon removed Minji’s head on her chest. Thankfully, Minji didn’t wake up. Yoohyeon washed her face before wearing her uniform again. It’s the third set of uniform that she’s gonna change into today and it's all because of Minji. She chuckled and went out of the bathroom. Minji was still asleep. She crouched down and caressed her head. Yoohyeon kissed Minji’s forehead, the tip of her nose, and lastly her lips. Minji woke up from that and slowly fluttered her eyes open. 

“Hi.” Yoohyeon said in an almost inaudible and soft voice. Minji smiled softly and gave a peck on Yoohyeon’s lips.

“Hi. Are you gonna work now?” Minji said in a husky voice that made Yoohyeon’s heart flutter. The doctor nodded.

“Yea. I don’t want to leave you alone like this.” Yoohyeon pointed to Minji’s body that was only covered by a small blanket. Minji's heart swelled at the consideration of the younger. 

“I’ll wear clothes and just stay here. Let’s go home before we go on our date later to take a bath and change our clothes, okay?” Yoohyeon nodded and smiled. Minji sat up, holding the blanket against her chest. She patted the area beside her, telling Yoohyeon to sit down. Minji straddled Yoohyeon, the blanket on her chest falling down. She kissed Yoohyeon deeply, pressing herself on the girl. 

"What time will you finish?" Yoohyeon grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around Minji's shoulders and hugged her close. She said it Minji's ear

"I'll just do my last rounds with Gahyeon, check the ER, and check something with the nurses." They stayed there for a while. They just enjoyed each other's hugs before Yoohyeon saw the clock and she had 5 minutes left.

"I have to go now, Jiji. Get dressed, okay?" Minji pulled back and nodded. Minji was still totally bare and Yoohyeon admired every single thing that she saw. She felt proud and happy that she saw a mark that she made to Minji. When the older got dressed, Yoohyeon stood up and went to the door.

"I'll see you later." Minji gave a peck on Yoohyeon's cheek.

"See you." Yoohyeon doesn't know why but the giggles and chuckles that Minji let out made her adore Minji more.

"I'll be quick." Yoohyeon said and went outside. Minji prepared everything for later so when Yoohyeon comes back, they'll be on their way for the date that Minji planned.

The staff laughed at how different Yoohyeon's attitude was before and now. Yoohyeon was happier and brighter now and all of them were happy to see her like that, especially after what happened earlier. Nurse Min teased her and said,
