Chapter 16: Best Part

The next day, Yoohyeon and Gahyeon monitored Yubin’s mom closely. They’re expecting her to wake up in 2 days. Everything seemed fine and Yoohyeon always assured Yubin and her dad that her mom is okay. Handong saw how down her girlfriend was. She offered to take her home to get some fresh clothes and take a bath. On their way home, Yubin fell asleep. Handong smiled at how Yubin had her mouth a little open and her head was dropping. She softly shook Yubin to wake her up. The drummer opened her eyes carefully and looked at Handong.

“We’re here, Yubinnie. Let’s go.” Handong opened the side of Yubin’s door and guided her out. Yubin had her arm over Handong’s shoulder and the actress had her hand wrapped around Yubin’s waist. She entered their password and went straight to their room.

“Get some sleep, okay? I’ll prepare for later.” Yubin shook her head and said,

“No, no, Dongie. Sleep with me, please? Just stay here. Let’s just get it ready later. Together, okay?” Handong couldn’t say no, especially Yubin was very cuddly and cute right now. She laid down beside Yubin, hugging her girlfriend closely. They both let the countless nights without sleep take over them.

The SuaYeon couple were worried about their member too. Bora cooked up some lunch for all of them, including Yubin’s dad, Gahyeon, and Yoohyeon. They went back to their previous dorm, now their house to pick up some stuff for later. 

“Hey, Singnie?” Siyeon looked over to Bora.

“Can you taste this for me? I don’t know if it tastes good.” Bora was usually confident in cooking but I guess she was worried since she’s cooking for many people this time. Siyeon walked over and grabbed a spoon. She tasted the soup that Bora was cooking and hummed in delight.

“It tastes amazing, Bora. Don’t worry about it.” Bora pulled a suspicious face.

“Are you sure you're not saying it just because you’re my girlfriend?” Siyeon gave a peck to Bora’s lips.

“No, Bora. It really tastes good. I promise. Let’s get it ready.” Siyeon got some containers to put the food in. Bora carefully placed some in different containers. One for them, for Handong and Yubin, Yubin’s dad, for Yoohyeon and Minji, and Gahyeon. Siyeon placed it in a bag so it won’t get cold easily. They both took a bath before leaving their home. Bora called Handong to inform her,

“Hi, Handong. I brought over some food so don’t worry about it. Just come to the hospital again and let’s eat together. I’m gonna call it Minji too.” Handong thanked Bora over the phone and ended the call. Siyeon smiled at Bora before holding her hand and taking off.

Minji was in their house. Since Yoohyeon is on-call right now, she went home alone. She unpacked her things, cleaned the house, did some chores, and packed fresh new clothes for her and Yoohyeon. She took a bath and texted Yoohyeon before leaving.

Minji: Hi Yooh! I’m leaving the house now. Just text me when you can. I brought some clothes for us and Bora said she has food. Eat with us if you’re available. I love you!

Yoohyeon: Hi Minji! I’m just waiting for the ambulance right now. We received a call a while ago. You can go to my office to drop off the things. I’ll go later, don't worry. Stay safe on the road, Ji. I love you too.

Minji put her phone down and started the car. When she parked her car, she saw Bora and Siyeon entering too. She called them to wait for her and they entered the elevator together. On their way to the room, she saw Yoohyeon running somewhere. She stopped in her tracks and followed Yoohyeon with her gaze. The doctor had a worried face on and that made Minji worry too. Yoohyeon emerged again with a patient that was bathed in blood. She was straddling the patient while performing cpr. Three nurses and a paramedic pushed the bed while telling people to get out of the way. Minji hoped that the patient would be okay. Bora and Siyeon also looked. She tapped the both of them before saying,
