*Six Months Until the Interview*

"And... cut! Alright, everybody, that's a wrap for the day! We'll finish up this scene tomorrow." Jackson sighed, rubbing his tired eyes.

You know how if something could go wrong, it will? Well that was happening today. Anything that could've delayed filming that day happened and everybody was over it. The scene itself was relatively simple. This was the big moment where Chris's character was supposed to chase you down an empty street through a torrential downpour so he could confess his feelings for you. The whole thing would end in a passionate kiss and lead into the epilogue. It was very cheesy, very cliché, but the audience always ate that kind of thing up. Unfortunately, problems ranging from technical issues to forgotten lines came up and the projected end time for that day went from 6pm to almost midnight. It was absolutely ridiculous and you were totally exhausted. And freezing. Due to the late hour and the constant retakes you had been doing for the rain shots, you were soaked down to your socks. Every few takes, a PA would run in and help dry you off while Jackson checked the shots, but those breaks never lasted long since he wanted to keep shooting.

Once Jackson called cut, a couple PA's ran out with towels and blankets for you and Chris. They quickly dried you off and wrapped you up in the blankets, the fleece material instantly bringing you a world of warmth.

"This is the life, huh?" Chris asked, tightening the fabric around him. He bounced on his heels a bit, trying to move enough to get the warmth circulating throughout his body. You laughed, your jaw chattering nonstop as the PA helped dry your hair off.

"Everything I dreamed and more." You quipped, your breath labored and very uneven.

"We got one more month of this and then we're done." He comforted.

"Thank god..." You muttered to yourself.

"We put a space heater in your trailer so you can warm up a bit before you go home." The PA said behind you. You looked behind you, your eyes as big as saucers. She might as well have just told you that you won the lottery and you would've been just as happy.

"Thank you so much!" You smiled before looking back to Chris. "I gotta go."

"Understandable." He chuckled. "Go warm up. Have a good night!" He nodded, turning to head towards his own trailer. You watched him leave, your eyes trailing over his backside for a moment before refocusing on your PA. You felt a fluttering in the pit of your stomach, the feeling similar to the one you'd get with Shayne. However, you quickly brushed it off, blaming the giddiness on the dozens of takes you had to do for the kiss. Which, you weren't complaining, but still. It was a reason. You nodded to the assistant and together, you walked to your trailer.

"Oh! By the way, while you were shooting, some guy came to set and asked where your trailer was." The PA informed. You looked at her, confusion clear on your face.

"Who was it?"

"I have no idea. He wasn't on the list, but he said he knew you so I let him in."

"What?" You shouted, stopping in your tracks. Your trailer was about 20 feet in front of you. "Why would you do that?"

"Well I thought that maybe you were expecting somebody and-"

"No! No, always check with me first!" You scolded, running to your trailer and charging up the few steps. "Alright, look, man, I don't know who you are, but you aren't welcome here so just do yourself and get the hell.... Out." You stopped in the doorway, your jaw going slack as your words caught in your throat.

"Not the welcome I was expecting, but it'll do." Shayne smirked, standing with his hands shoved in his pockets at the opposite end of the trailer.
