"So you met him, talked to him, got his number, and you haven't set up a date yet?" Jade asked, taking a sip of her iced tea. You sat at a local café, enjoying brunch with your two besties, Jade and Sabrina, before you had to get ready to be on The Tonight Show that night. You played with the spoon that sat in your cup of coffee, swirling the liquid around and watching as the foam spun into different designs. You smiled at your friend, shaking your head at her.

"Can't say I have." You shrugged.

"Why not?" Sabrina asked, leaning on the table.

"I mean, I want to hang out, but I kind of don't know if I want it to be a date or not?" You said, furrowing your brows. The girls stared at you, puzzled at this seemingly sudden change in attitude. "Like..." You sighed. "I don't know if a relationship is a good idea right now if things with my career decide to take off."

"Well, (y/n/n), if you think things are about to take off, right now is the perfect time to get into a relationship." Sabrina offered. "If he likes you now before you get big, you gotta lock him down before life gets crazy."

"Yeah, you're not going to be getting a lot of serious relationships if everybody's trying to get with you." Jade nodded, agreeing with your trainer and friend. "You know what I mean? Like, just dating you to get clout."

"I know..." You agreed. "I just... I don't know if I can build up the relationship enough in time for it to last." You explained. "Life is moving a lot faster than I thought it would."

"Are you getting a lot of offers for roles?" Sabrina asked.

"Actually, yeah!" You laughed. "Daniel got me a few auditions for some bigger films."

"Wait, really?" Jade smiled, leaning towards you. "That's awesome!" The girls beamed at you. "What are they?"

"There's a rom-com, some film-adaptation of a play, and a Spielberg piece." You listed off, nodding at your dumb-founded friends.

"(y/n), that's huge!" Sabrina laughed.

"Yeah..." You nodded. "I sent in video auditions for the rom-com and the play, but I was offered the Spielberg role. Like they want me." You informed, smiling proudly.

"That's so incredible, (y/n/n)! I'm so proud of you!" Jade squealed, leaning across the table to hug you.

"Thank you." You laughed. "Nothing is official yet. Everything's still in, like, the planning phases, but once they get the green-light I'll get more of a definite answer."

"So you're just in limbo right now?" Sabrina asked.

"Yeah, pretty much." You chuckled.

"Perfect time to get things started with Shayne!" Jade offered, quirking an eyebrow at you.

"I don't know..."

"Have you even texted him yet?" She asked. You smirked, avoiding eye contact and pulling your cup up to your lips. The girls stared at you, their expressions turning to one of shock. They looked at each other before snapping their attention back to you Disney Channel style. "You have, haven't you?" Jade beamed, scooting her chair closer to you.

"A lady doesn't tell..." You quipped, setting your cup down. However, right as you did that, your phone dinged, making all of you looked down at the illuminated device. You and Jade made eye contact before you both sprung for your device at once. She beat you to it, quickly unlocking your phone and reading the text message.

"Well you may not know, but Shayne certainly does..." She smirked, handing you your phone. You looked quizzically at her before looking down at your screen, a blush quickly spreading across your cheek and neck at the message.
