Luminary Love

Chapter 2

~One Week Later~ 

"I would like to thank everybody who was involved in making this season a good one. From the cast to the crew and everybody in between. I think this season is going to be fantastic!" Jon addressed the large group in front of him. There had to be a hundred people in that room at that moment and you were overjoyed to be there with them. "We had a great season of epic fight scenes," The stunt teams and fight coordinators cheered. "new friends," He motioned to you along with the some of the other new cast members. "and one of the greatest romances the galaxy has ever seen!" The room erupted into a fit of murmurs. You peeked over to Pedro who only winked in response. You smirked at him and rolled your eyes. "It's truly been an honor working with all of you and I appreciate all the hard work that was put into this production. Now enjoy your night! The bar is free! And the first episode will be premiering this Friday!" 

Everybody cheered, getting up from their tables and walking to get their food or drinks. You moseyed on over to where Jade, Pedro, and Shelia were all gathered. Pedro was leaning against one of the tables with a glass of whiskey in his hand. Jade and Shelia stood on either side of him, Jade almost flush against his side. You smirked at them. Jade liked to pretend she thought Pedro was just another pretentious, narcissistic asshole actor, but you saw how she looked at him when he was getting his hair and makeup done (when he needed to get it done). You also saw the blush she'd try desperately to hide when he made one of his flirty comments to her. 

And let's not forget what happened at the Christmas party that year.... 

As you approached your friends, Jade took a step to the side, getting some distance away from Pedro. They all greeted you as you walked over. 

"(y/n)!" Pedro exclaimed in a deep voice. You giggled, shaking your head at him. He pushed off of the table and brought you into a hug, swaying you back and forth slightly. "Alright, you get a week break from me and then we are off to the races for press, okay?" 

"Can't wait." You laughed, pulling back from the hug and squeezing his biceps a little before letting go entirely. "Are we playing up our on-screen romance in real life for the fans?" 

"Oh, you know we are!" His voice raised an octave, chuckling to himself before turning his attention to Jade and Shelia. "And you two!" He pulled both girls into his side. "If you aren't doing my hair and makeup for all of the press coming up I'm going to be so mad at you." 

"Oh, trust me. I'll be there." Jade smirked. 

"I hope you are." Pedro winked, leaning towards her. The two held eye contact for a tense moment, seeming to absentmindedly eye-fuck each other. 

"OKAY! I'm going to get another drink before you two start making out again. (y/n), care to join?" Shelia interrupted, making the pair break away blushing and you burst out laughing. 

"Yes, please." You laughed, walking away to give your friends some privacy. You peeked over your shoulder and winked at Jade. She glared at you but couldn't contain the smile that painted her lips. You followed Shelia to the bar. 

"Are you excited for the premiere?" Shelia asked, nonchalantly swinging her arms as she walked. 

"If you can call it that." You breathed out a chuckle. "I feel like I might vomit either way." 

"You know, in a sense, that's good. It means you care." 

"I'm not excited for the bad reviews." You quipped, flashing your eyebrows at her. 

"Never focus on that." She said, giving you a gentle smile. "You may get the occasional hate comment, but there are going to be a million other people who absolutely adore you."
