~5 Months Until the Interview~
You sat in your trailer. You didn't have to be on set for a couple hours and were happy to be able to relax for a bit before the shoot. You only had about a week left for shooting. It was weird how quickly this shoot went by. It honestly felt like just yesterday that you were saying goodbye to everybody at the airport. You missed them. Jade texted you constantly, asking for update after update about the movie, Boston... Chris. She found it absolutely hilarious that Chris had a thing for you. You had been single for so long, swearing up and down that you were never going to date anybody because you thought men found you "absolutely repulsive." And how here you were, in a happy, committed relationship with your celebrity crush and batting away Captain America with a stick. And truth is... that wasn't too far off from the truth.
Chris started to get more clingy on set. He'd touch you more, laugh at everything you said, invite you places, give you things. All signs that he had a thing for you and he would not let up. You just had a bad taste in your mouth with him. Especially after the comments he made towards Shayne a couple weeks ago. It was a particularly stressful day on set and Chris was not making it better.
"(y/n)! Hey!" You rolled your eyes, giving the PA next to you a look. She giggled, her eyes flicking behind you before flashing her eyebrows. You returned the look, thanking her for her help and turning around. Chris jogged up to you, his chest puffed out, trying to showcase his athletic physique. He slowed down to a stop, his hands propping themselves on his hips. "How are you?"
"I'm good." You nodded, inching your way towards the door so you could go home. "How are you?"
"Fantastic!" He exclaimed, meeting you to walk with you. You kept your head down, not in the mood for conversation. "Have you heard from Shayne lately?" You sighed. Guess not...
"Yep! Calls me every morning." You nodded, forcing yourself to engage in the conversation.
"Just calls?" Chris asked. You glared at him. "No FaceTimes or anything?"
"He calls me on his way to work. He can't FaceTime."
"Oh." Was all he said. You felt your insides begin to twist with anger. Why does it matter if Shayne FaceTimes you or not? "Is he going to come visit again any time soon?" You sighed.
"He can't. He shoots for the next few weeks so he can't really come out here."
"I'd find the time..." He grumbled.
"What?" You snapped, your head whipping towards Chris. He looked over, his eyes wide.
"I just said that if I was in his shoes, I'd find the time to come and see you." He defended.
"Well it's really expensive to fly across the country. He can't do it every weekend." You spit out, trying to contain your anger. Normally you wouldn't have been this agitated with his comments (you'd tolerate them at best), but today you weren't having any of it.
"And that's fine!" He held up his hands. "I'm just saying that I would spend as much time as possible with a girl if I actually liked her."
You stopped dead in your tracks, fire filling your eyes. Chris stopped a few steps ahead of you, turning around when he noticed you weren't walking with him anymore. Your mouth hung open, your mind sorting through all the bad words to find something to say that won't ruin your career. "Chris." You started, taking a deep breath to compose yourself. "I'm dating Shayne. I'm happy with Shayne. And I don't know what you're trying to get at here with these stupid, petty comments... But if that's all you're going to be doing when we have a conversation then I'm done talking to you." You rushed past him, narrowly avoiding his shoulder as you passed. Chris, for once, stayed silent, watching as you stormed off of set. He sighed, his shoulders slumping a bit.
