"You'll text us when you get there, right?" Jade asked, rushing behind you through the airport. Your eyes frantically looked around you, checking and rechecking that you had all your bags. You nodded in response, your mind focusing on other things.

"Your gate is G43, which is at the very end. Don't forget." Pedro stated, attempting to yell over the roaring crowd. You looked behind you, your eyes locking with Shayne's. His blonde hair, which was normally tucked up under a baseball cap, hung loosely over his forehead, splitting at the center of his hairline and falling to the sides. The tips of the locks brushed against the tops of his ears, the style needing readjusted constantly. The blue that sparkled in his iris' instantly calmed your anxiety, the soft smile that spread across his face when gaining your attention was enough to bring that warm feeling back to your chest. He stood in the back of the group, the friends your brought along becoming helicopter parents on your day of departure. He looked about as handsome as he always did, a new button up resting on his built frame, the center piece article being accented by black jeans and his black Doc Martins. Much to your protest, Shayne was carrying your bags, your backpack strapped to his body as he held your smaller carry-on bag. The two of you shared a moment, admiring one another as memories of the last couple days flooded your mind.

"Okay, open." Shayne demanded, holding up a grape from the bowl sitting on the coffee table. You were a good distance away from each other, the night being spent in front of the electric fire place you had in your living room. You stood across from him, turning your attention away from the framed photo you had sitting on your mantle to your boyfriend. He stood on the other end, holding the grape up between his thumb and pointer finger. The wine glass that had been filled and refilled throughout the night was cupped in your palm, the end of the stem resting against your sternum as you hugged it to your chest. You furrowed your brow, giving Shayne a confused smile. He chuckled, placing his own glass on the other end of the mantle. "Just trust me."

"Okay..." You said with much skepticism. You set your glass down, side-eyeing Shayne as you did so. He smirked, not breaking eye contact as he leaned down and grabbed another handful of the round, green fruit. "What am I doing?"

"Open wide." He smiled, motioning to his own mouth. You got the hint, parting your lips and holding your mouth slightly agape for him. The anticipation confused you, causing you to hesitate in your actions. "Wider." Shayne laughed. You sighed, rolling your eyes. You overexaggerated opening your mouth, looking at him as if to say, 'Happy?' Shayne nodded, getting in a ready stance. He held a grape up, mimicking a throwing motion to practice how hard he had to do it. "Okay, ready?"

"I guess." You giggled, mimicking his wide-legged stance to prepare yourself. Shayne's playful demeanor changed to one of focus. He threw the first grape, the fruit flying too far to your right and hitting the chair behind you. You both let out a grunt of disappointment before retraining your gazes on one another. This happened a few times, too far left, too far right, too high. Each grape missed and flew somewhere behind you. The next time he tried, the grape went too low, hitting your chest instead. You caught it, swinging your hand up to put the sweet bubble in your mouth. As you finished chewing, Shayne shook out his arms, preparing himself for the final shot. He wound up, lining up the shot before- "Oof!" You exclaimed, squinting your eyes shut as the grape hit between your eyebrows. Your shoulders hunched forward out of reflex, immediately laughing as you held the spot you got hit. Shayne's high-pitched laughter filled the room, his hand covering his mouth as the other reached out to you.

"I'm so sorry!" He squealed out, pulling you into a hug. His arms wrapped around your neck, engulfing your head between his biceps. You rested your hands on his back, snorting a bit as you tried to stifle your laughter.
