Making her way through the rough terrain, a young woman staggered with a weapon in hand, still aware of all that surrounded her. it was not an easy feat to flee from her home, rather it was more of a predicament than she had expected. The aroma of smoking meat wafted throughout the air, eventually entering the nostrils of the famished woman who listened to her stomach gurgle, yearning for any kind of sustenance. It wouldn't be long till she reached her destination.
Groaning in pain, the wounds that she thought had been sealed re-opened due to the strenuous climbing that had to be completed so she could reach the city of freedom before sundown. Blood droplets seeped from the wound upon her stomach, spattering upon the ground and leaving a trail behind her frail form. This alerted the woman that her body could no longer handle further obstacles and required rest.
"Please, I beg of you..." She gasped, struggling to breathe. "So close!" The escapee beckoned her body as if it would listen to her commands.
Overcoming a hill, she noticed two stone towers peeking over the horizon, she had arrived and her prayers have been answered. Within a flurry of excitement, she pounced over the hills like an excited rabbit finding food. Reaching the bridge that led to the entrance of Monstadt, she rushed forward, ignoring what dangers could possibly occur.
"Argh!"
Falling head over heels as her footwear became lodged between the walls of a crack, the woman held in her cries of pain as she brought herself from the ground. Hearing the faint sound of someone chasing after her, she looked behind in fear, cursing as she saw the person she wished to outrun.
"Hey! Wait up!" A high-pitched voice called out from behind the panicked woman, causing her to quicken the pace.
Ignorant and afraid of the brown-haired girl that demanded your attention, you continued to rush forwards in a scurry with all intention to finally seek shelter within the walls. Although, it seemed that your luck had been sucked dry to the bone. Consciousness slipping, you raised a hand, calling for the aid of the two Knights that stood guard, protecting the grand entrance. Alas, all was in vain as your vision turned pitch black, your body falling like a soulless ragdoll upon the cold, hard ground.

Even though your mind longed to rest for only a little longer, your eyes awoke to blurry and unclear surroundings. Feeling a plush mattress below your damaged body, you smiled as those were some of the many comforts that you hadn't experienced in a while after fleeing your home. Seating yourself up, groans of pain escaped your lips as the wounds on your stomach stretched. Before you could sit up straight, a gentle hand pushed you back down onto the bed. Gazing up, you met the face of a young lady who became joyous the second your eyes met her ocean-blue ones.
