"Dragon... Spine?"
Recalling the place that Noelle instructed you to deliver the important papers, you couldn't help but ponder on the thought of why such a monstrous and chilling mountain even resided in such a place as Monstadt. Monstadt always seemed to be in a state of spring compared to the ever-frosty Dragonspine.
Along the trail you followed, you began to feel the cold, bitter air that flew down from the mountain bitting at your skin, causing goosebumps to rise upon the surface of your arms and legs. Thankfully, you spotted a camp north of the trail that looked to have a furnace of some sort. Quickly jogging to the camp, you ignored the stares of the adventurers when you entered and directed yourself to the warm fireplace. By now, your mouth was shuttering and your hands gripped your biceps to accumulate warmth.
"Excuse me, Miss, are you alright?" Someone asked you from behind. Snapping your head over your shoulder, you found a boy with pale-blond hair and stark blue eyes.
"My apologies, I did not mean to barge in!" You apologised, facing the boy that had a stern expression upon his face. "I was asked to deliver these documents to a... Mr Albedo?"
"Ah, that would be me." He replied, taking a peek at the pieces of paper you held. Handing Mr Albedo his documents, you couldn't help but try to take a gander of what content was written upon the paper. It seemed to be quite important.
Glancing at the words that were written in the first document, you could only comprehend the words 'Fatui' and 'devices'. In all honesty, the word 'Fatui' seemed quite familiar, too familiar for comfort.
Whilst you were tucked away within your own thoughts, Albedo admired your figure. The (F/C) kimono you wore accented your (E/C) orbs and the unusual rabbit ears that flopped downwards from your head. Albedo found himself quite eager to know if you were some kind of an adeptus or not. "May I have your name?" Albedo asked, walking over to his workspace to place down the documents.
"O-Oh, its Otsuko, Otsuko (Y/N)." You answered, flustered from suddenly being pulled from your thoughts.
"Well, Miss Otsuko, you have my thanks for delivering me these papers." He said, making you smile. Albedo seemed to notice your shivering form, yearning for more warmth. "Do you... Do you know the way back to Monstadt?"
Your face flushed red in embarrassment. It was true, you managed to find a de-tour that directed you here albeit, the way back was as confusing as the sight of such a frosty mountain that chilled you to the bone in the middle of the mild temperatures of Monstadt. Smiling, you bowed to the young man who awaited your answer.
"I am unfamiliar with Monstadt so far, I would be eternally grateful if you could tell me where to go."
The man with chalk-blond hair let out a small chuckle, your cheeks turning an even deeper shade of red as his melodious laughs entered your ears.
