The morning sun pierced through the grey clouds that danced within the sky. Although, the glum weather didn't delay your gardening duties. You, Venti, Paimon, and Aether all were digging up the ground to plant seeds that would hopefully grow into a bountiful harvest.
"Here, Venti," You made your way over to the bard, observing how he struggled with handling the potato seeds. "Like this." You cupped his petite hands with your own, scooping up the dirt and piling it on top of the seeds. A faint red hue spread over his cheeks from your proximity. Venti cheekily smiled as he caught Aether staring enviously.
Once you briefed Venti, you went back to work on the sweet potato. Before you could dig another shallow hole within the soil, a voice ceased your movements.
"Miss Otsuko, you have been requested by the Acting Grand Master. Please follow me." The Favonious guard sharply spoke, authority and duty leaking from his stature and tone. You could tell this meeting wasn't to be taken lightly.
"Hey, mister!" Paimon called, buzzing from her spot with rice grains still stuck around her mouth. "Why do you need (Y/N), huh? Don't you realise you're standing before the Honorary Knight!?" She questioned, directing her doll-like arms towards Aether.
The guard was not one to falter so easily, for he brushed off Paimon's complaints as if they were mere dust particles on his shoulder. "The Grand Master wishes to talk privately with miss Otsuko, immediately."
Before Paimon could open her trap to protest further, you swiftly complied, albeit with a little hesitancy.
"I'll go." You obliged, removing your straw hat and placing it on Paimon's white head of hair. "I shan't be long, dear Paimon." You reassured the pixie, soon to send a smile to both Venti and Aether.
Catching up with the guards pace, you couldn't help but endlessly fidget with your fingers. You forebode what was to come along, why would the grand mater request you? You still had the underlying feeling that she felt disdain towards you.

A simple knock was all that it took for Jean to acknowledge that her wanted person was on the other side of her office door, thus she answered promptly. "Come in."
The guard that escorted you to the headquarters opened the door, retreating outside once you were in the room as if he were scared to face the wrath of the grandmaster. That didn't help the nerves that scratched your insides to shreds.
"(Y/N)," Jean addressed you, offering a seat before her desk. "I've been meaning to discuss concerns with you about the device discovered in Windrise."
