"You... you still worship the Yueliang Adeptus?" You curiously asked, your ears perking up as you heard the familiar title.

"Why, of course! I am indebted to her." Xiangling spoke, her face crinkling as she smiled sweetly. "Dou Sha Bao is her favourite, after moon cakes of course."

As Xiangling carefully placed the sweet red bean buns in front of the shrine, you couldn't help but point out that Dou Sha Bao was also your favourite, second to moon cakes. You'd thought it best to scratch that off as a coincidence, yet it still managed to bother you in a way.

Xiangling caught you ogling the plate showcasing a pile of Dou Sha Bao, giggling as your eyes sparkled and drool almost slid down the corner of your mouth. She wasn't one to blame, they smelt divine. Perfectly soft and buoyant dough encasing the sweet red bean paste was enough to get anyone on their knees. Plucking a bun from the pile, the head chef held it in her palm before you.

Your eyes widened, not expecting such a generous gesture. "Thank you but I must not eat what is offered to an adeptus." You reluctantly denied it, knowing that it would be greedy to give in and consume what was not for you.

"Don't worry, (Y/N)! I'm giving this to you because you remind me of her, the Yueliang Adeptus that is."

You didn't know what to respond, so you only gazed at Xiangling with grateful eyes and carefully took the bun from her hand. You could practically feel how light and fluffy the dough was already even though it had only been in your palm for a few seconds. The scent that wafted from the bun reminded you of your time in the Yukaku, with Mizuki. Not waiting another moment, you took a bite and delightfully hummed as the cloud-like dough and sweet bean paste met your tastebuds.

"This is... amazing!" You gleefully exclaimed, all your worries washing away as you ate. "Am I able to purchase more?!"

Xiangling watched in amusement as your ears flopped downwards once the flavours melted on your tongue. She had to admit, the sight was cuter than Guoba sunbathing within the open fields. "Oh, yes! I'll make you a whole batch of you come to Wanmin restaurant with me?"

As Xiangling outstretched a hand, you immediately took it in excitement, forgetting why you were even at the shrine, to begin with, nor who you had to return to. The chef-led you out of the seemingly abandoned area and you happily held onto her small hand, the excitement of enjoying Dou Sha Bao making you giddy with every step you took.

It was only a short distance from the shrine to Wanmin restaurant so you could smell all of the delicious foods being prepared and cooked to perfection. When you arrived, you were greeted by a panda, a very round panda with an orange, white, and dark brown coat. The panda's beady round eyes stared at you as he looked up, instantly melting your heart. Crouching down to the panda's height, you internally squealed as he made a grunting sound when you put your hand upon his fluffy head.
