I looked up at Kagami. "Well... I just hate it because..." I was close with Kagami but I just couldn't bring myself to tell him why I hated basketball. I hated everything competitive. But I had built up walls to this story. I didn't feel like taking them down to destroy all my hard work of letting it go. Tears started to form in my eyes. Kagami looked at me. "Oh-h I'm sorry. Don't cry." He started to get all flustered. It was cute. I wiped a single tear "Don't worry about it." I smiled at him. "Hey why don't I take you to one of my games or practices." I thought about it. I hated the sport but liked Kagami. It was a hard choice. "I-I mean you do t have to. Man what's with me? I've been saying all the wrong things." He hit his forehead. I giggled. "No. No. I'd love to come to either!" "Really? Awesome! I have a game next week!" We started to talk about what the game would be like. What team he'd be playing against, where it would be and all that.

Kagami perspective~
I walked out of Nova's house. "Need a ride home Kagami?" Nova's Uncle asked. "No I'm good. Thanks!" I waved and walked home. Then I saw her...

Bethany. "Hi Kagami-kun~" her voice sounded like nails on a chalkboard to me. All high pitch and irritating. "What Bethany?" I asked in a very 'I'm not in the mood for your shit' voice. "I see you've been helping the cripple." "You mean Nova?" "Oh whoops! She's so ugly and unimportant I almost forgot who she was! Haha." "Fuck off." "Now, now Kagami. I wouldn't say that kinda stuff to me." "Why not?" I was very close to my limit with this bitch. "Well you see I like you, a lot. But so does Nova." Nova likes me? Well as a friend, right? "We're just friends." I told her. "If that's how you see it then you must be blind. She clearly loves you. I'm being honest for once. You took care of her, helped her and all that manly stuff." "So that means she likes me?" If she does that's great! But this is Bethany so I didn't trust a thing she was saying. "What do you really want?" "You." "What!? What makes you think I'd go for you?" "Because of you don't I'll leave Nova with more than just a hospital trip." She gave the smirk of a demon. Nova had just gone through so much and Bethany still wasn't satisfied. She really is blood thirsty. "Stay away from her!" "Oh I will, but under one condition. You leave her alone and become my boyfriend. Then she doesn't get hurt and I get you! We all win, right?" This woman. I hate her, but I like Nova. "You won't hurt her?" "Not a scratch." "Fine, you've got a deal." This pained me so much. I was gonna tell Nova at some point my feelings, and now this. And as if this bitch hadn't pissed me off enough her next statement made me want to choke her. "Oh and one last thing. You can't tell her about this plan."
