Kagami My Hero (Kagami X OC)

Chapter One (Story)

"BEEP BEEP BEEP" *slap* My alarm clock was blasting a loud beeping sound signaling it was time to get up. I get up out of bed and look in the mirror.

"Ugh. Why do I have to wake up like THIS!?" Messy bed head and smeared make-up, since I was too lazy to take it off. My long brown hair came down to my shoulders and had pretty gold highlights, but it was a mess at the moment. Sluggishly making my way to the bathroom I brushed the rats nest out of my head. "God dammit." I tugged and tugged but nothing was moving. Deciding this was going no where I hopped in the shower. Now my hair was silky smooth. I looked in the mirror into my own brown orbs letting out a heavy sigh. I applied some light make up and added a pair of gold hoop earrings. "Another day in hell is about to begin." I mumbled to myself. I changed into a light pink tank top, light washed jeans, and some brown combat boots. Looking in the mirror again I thought I looked ok then I heard THEM.

All the mean things girl at school said came flooding back. "Worthless." "Ew look at her so ugly." "Piece of shit." Letting out yet another sigh I plastered a smile on my face and walked out of the safe of my home.

On my way to school the fake smile never left my face. "Look at Nova. Who does she think she is? Trying to look all pretty. Ugh." I heard some girls gossip about me but I kept on walking. I was in all honors classes, however I was special. I had a few mental problems which caused me to have little focus, bad organizing skills and trouble with reading, so I got a little bit of special treatment in classes. This gave people another reason to pick on me. "Cheater." "You don't even belong in these classes." "Stupid." More voices of the bullies came back. My math teacher Ms.Carter spoke "Class this is Kagami." "Hello Kagami." The whole class said in a monotone. Ms.Carter continued " I expect you all to treat him kindly and respectfully. Kagami you can take the open seat next to Nova." Kagami was tall, no tall is an understatement, he was GIANT! His hair was two tones of red and he had strange looking, split eyebrows. His red orbs made eye contact with mine as he spoke "Oi. Quit staring at me." He turned his head away with a faint pink color on his cheeks. 'Was he blushing?' I thought 'no that's impossible.'

Disappointment soon crept onto my face and I began to pout slightly. Kagami took his seat. You could here girls behind you whispering "I hope Kagami doesn't get sick sitting next to the monster." "How can he even stand being near her?" These comments made me want to cry, but once again a fake smile was plastered onto my face as I picked my head up. "Hello Kagami-kun." I started "I'm Nova, I look forward to being your class mate." I flashed him a genuine smile until the bullies came up from behind me. I could feel a bad aura coming off of the three girls. The girl in the middle was standing basically in my face and the two others were a little further back. The girl in the middle had blonde hair, blue eyes and creamy white skin. Her name was Bethany and she was the one who hated me the most. Bethany had recently broken up with her boyfriend and was searching for a new man to wrap around her finger. "Hey~" she winked at Kagami. "Hi." He replied, not even looking at Bethany. "New kid huh. How do you like it here at Seirin?" "It's fine I guess. I just wanna know if there is there is basketball team here." "Yep, there sure is." I felt awkward sitting in the middle of Bethany and Kagami who seemed to be hitting it off. The bell rang and class started.

Math class was my least favorite subject but I loved Ms.Carter. She was an amazing teacher who really helped me understand everything. I talked to her about everything, she was like my guidance consoler. She knew that Bethany and co. caused me trouble so she had us separated, or as far away from each other whenever possible. Math class seemed to fly by and pretty soon the bell rang again.
