Kagami's Perspective~
Huh? Oh looks like Nova and I fell asleep on the couch last night.
*ring ring ring*
I turn to see my phone buzzing on the coffee table. I don't recognize the caller so I wait for voice mail.
Once done buzzing I picked up the phone.
A voice all to familiar came on.
"Hello Mr.Kagami, we were wondering if you decided to take our opportunity to come to America. The other gent, Aomine and his friend, have already agreed to come. How about you?"
Man these dudes are prescient.
"Um sir I don't have the answer to that question just now. Please give me the week you promised."
"Very well, but think fast." *beeep*
Oh wonderful, he fucking hung up.
"Mmmm." Nova hummed in her sleep.
Damn it she's so cute. Calm down Kagami.
Her bright eyes fluttered open but still had a sleepy look.
"Hmm oh I'm at your place. I forgot."
And with that she collapsed back into my lap.
"Nova those men from the basketball agency called again. They want my answer soon." I said seriously. Nova had to be a part of this decision.
"..." She looked like she was about to speak but she chose not to.
"What? Do you not want me to go?"
"Well... It's not that... I want you to go but I know I'd miss you..."
We stayed in an awkward silence.
"I mean," she half heartedly chuckled " this is a once in a life time thing. When opportunity knocks you gotta open the door."
I hugged her and whispered "I'll be back before you know it."
"So you are gonna go?" She asked.
I've made my decision "Nova. I wanna be able to to take care of you. I wanna support us. One day I hope we have a family and I want my kids to have a dad they are proud of. I will go to America with this dream and come back a better man."
Nova's Perspective~
Kagami had a determined face as he spoke. His words were so kind and powerful I didn't even think it was him.
He wants to have a family huh?
I wouldn't mind that.
"Kagami..." I said as I collected my thoughts. However, no matter how much I kept thinking I knew there was only one thing to tell him.
"I love you."
