Kagami My Hero (Kagami X OC)

Chapter 18

~THE NEXT DAY~

Ms.Carter's class again. Nothing quite beat being in Ms.Carter's class. Today we were having a math class field trip, honors kids only. That meant a field trip for Kagami and I. We had to dress nicely to leave a good impression for our school. I wore a dark purple crop top, a white high waisted pencil skirt and matching dark purple heels. Kagami wore a white collared shirt, black dress pants and shoes, with a red tie. Ms.Carter looked amazing. Her blonde waves had been straightened and came just pass her shoulders. She was wearing a dark magenta dress that outlined her body. She had on shear black tights and shiny black flats that had gold bows on the tip. Her hazel eyes had eyeliner and eye shadow on them, which made her green orbs pop. Also she wore thin gold dangle earrings with a small emerald pendant that hung on a gold chain.

"Ms.Carter! You look great!" I complimented her. "Thank you Nova! You look amazing too!" She clapped her hands making the whole class listen. "Ok guys listen up. We are going to a Math and Science museum. You can wonder around the museum and do whatever you want, just please be respectful of other people. Don't disobey the rules and don't get into trouble. Other than that have a great time!" And with that we left the class and boarded the bus.

I was one of the lasts people on the bus. A familiar feeling of loneliness crept back in. I was gonna have to ask to sit with somebody if I didn't find an empty sit. I saw a single person sitting and I was about to ask if I could sit next to them. "Um excuse me. Could I ple- wah!" Before I could finish my question I felt an arm latch around my waist and pull me down. It was Kagami. I didn't even see him sitting one row back. "Baka! Why don't you sit with me." He seemed upset that I didn't see him and sit with him. "I'm sorry." I patted his soft red hair apologetically. "Sit on my lap." He ordered. "Wh-what!? Kagami we are in the bus! Other kids are here and will see us." I said in a whisper yell. You know the voice where you put strain on your next to yell something, but your in public so you whisper. Yeah, that's what I did. Kagami gave me a look like 'Are you fucking stupid? Does it look like I care?' I let out a small sigh. "Mmmmmm... Fine!" I agreed to sit on his lap. He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on the crook of my next. Ms.Carter walked on the bus and sat in the empty seat I would have previously taken. She turned around to count all the kids on the bus. "18... 19... 20. Yep we are all here." She locked eyes with Kagami and I. Most teachers would have been like "You two stop being lovey dovey back there." Or "hey get off his lap." But no, not Ms.Carter. She gave a small smile/smirk and just said "Be careful. It's gonna be a bumpy ride." She chuckled at her own comment which made me blush. She looked at me again and mouthed 'are you alright.' I nodded and mouthed back 'boyfriend'. She smiled and turned back around. I thought to myself that I need to thank Ms.Carter someday.

The bus started to drive to the museum and Ms.Carter wasn't kidding about the road being bumpy. Pot holes EVERYWHERE! If we turned a corner, pot hole. Trying to drive smoothly down the street, pot hole. Sooo many pot holes. Luckily Kagami held me down so I didn't bounce everywhere. I took out my phone. I didn't normally use it that often but I figured the bus ride would be good to listen to some music. I put in my earbuds and started to play some Fall Out Boy. I nodded my head lightly to the beat of the music. Kagami took out one of the ear buds. "Heeeeey~ give it back." I tried to take it from him but he put it in his ear. "What are you listening to?" "Some Fall Out Boy." "Ok." He seemed to like the music, which surprised me.

I was getting pretty tired even though we'd only been on the bus for legitimately 25 minutes. I got sleepy in cars and such so it didn't surprise me when I started to drift in and out of sleep during the ride. The ride was a total of 50 minutes so we were about half way there. I finally decided to just let my eyes close, listen to music, and feel the warmth as Kagami held me.
