Chapter 3

Kagami Prospective~
'Why doesn't Nova want to talk to me? Did I do something wrong?' All these thoughts ran through my mind. 'She seemed like a nice girl, pretty too.' I thought 'What are you talking about Kagami. This isn't like you!' I tired to forget about Nova, but that was to no prevail. She was in all my classes and she constantly looked sad. She hadn't smiled genuinely since the day we first talked and I didn't understand why. "Hey Kagami-kun." Kuroko said.

I had joined the basketball team for Seirin. I met a bunch of great guys who love basketball, especially Kuroko. I didn't think he'd be any good at basketball, considering his small figure, but he was actually pretty good. One problem was that he lacked presence. This guy could disappear right before your eyes and you wouldn't even notice until moments later when he'd say something from behind you. It always scared the crap out of me, but over time I got used to it. "Yeah." I replied. "What's wrong?" He asked with concern. This guy also had a knack for sensing peoples emotions. There was no point in hiding since he could read people like books.

I sighed "Hey do you know a girl named Nova?" I asked him. "Yes, why?" He replied. "What do you know about her?" I said straight forwardly. Kuroko seemed a bit taken back by my question, but then gave a small smile. Something I've never seen the bluenette do. He was just about to respond when some eavesdroppers came in. "Oh you don't know about Nova?" The tallest one said. "Well here's the deal..." He rambled on and on about how people here tease her about her flaws. He kept going for what seemed like forever just talking shit about Nova. I got really furious and was about to punch the dude when Kuroko stopped me. The guy looked scared seeing how my fist was inches from his face. "Good thing this guy was here. " I huffed. "Next time, you won't be so lucky." And I walked of. It had been almost a week since I had talked to Nova and we needed to talk.
