The right moment. Hawks x reader

Part 16

After a while of making out, I wasn't sure if I wanted this. We weren't a couple after all. Or not yet. I knew he liked me too but I didn't wanna do anything more if we weren't a couple. "K-Keigo wait" I said. He stoped immediately and looked at me. I had a look on my face if confusion and worry. "Hey if you don't want this it's fine" he said to reassure me. "I- I just feel like it's not the right time.." I said. Part of me felt guilty but I just wanted to be in a relationship if we do anymore other then kissing. "Hey it's alright, come here" he said while wrapping his arms around me. I also wrapped my arms around him. "Thank you" I said while we were cuddling. "You don't have to thank me birdy, don't worry" he said while giving a kiss in my forehead.

After a while of cuddling I felt myself drift off to sleep.

I wake up after I don't know how long but I was in a different room. It was a bedroom to be specific. I looked around and the room was all dark. I looked at the windows and saw it was all dark outside. So I guess it's night time. But when I looked in the bed Keigo wasn't there. I wasn't sure if it was a guest room or he just wasn't in bed yet. So I got out and went looking for him. I got out of the bedroom and was in the living room instantly. I looked around and saw Keigo sitting in the couch on his phone while the tv was also on. "Can't you sleep?" I asked. He looked op at me with quite a startled look. But he softened within an instant. "Uh yeah, you scared me a bit you know" he said with a small chuckle. "Oh sorry about that" I laughed off. I walked up to him and went to sit right beside him. "I can see there's something on your mind, what is it?" I asked. "To be honest, I was thinking about Natsuo, he seemed to be obsessed about you. I just don't want anything happening to you" he answered. At first I thought about that that's not true, but to think about it. Natsuo was acting a bit like it. "Well I think he's just disappointed. But not really obsessed over me. And that's why he acted the way he did. Maybe he didn't know what to do? And I'm a hero too after all. I know how to protect myself" I said with a chuckle on the end. He looked up at me "I just hope you're right" he said.

We were just sitting in silence watching some tv. Just comfortable being within each other's presence. After a while I saw Keigo yawn a view times. It was bedtime for the big bird. "Come in let's go to bed." I said. "Uh huh" was all he mumbled and he layed down. "...aren't you coming to bed?" I asked. "Uh yeah of course" he said back sleepy. He got up and dragged himself to the bedroom with his wings hanging to the floor. I guess he was pretty exhausted. He didn't even care and u dressed himself to chance into some soccer shorts without a shirt and dived into bed.  I decided I should also get changed into something more comfortable so I walked up the Keigo's closet and picked a random shirt. It was definitely to big for me but I didn't mind. I didn't have any shorts so I decided my underwear alone works just fine. I got into bed with Keigo and he wrapped his arms around me. He layed me on top of him with his wings around us both. Like a sort cage of protection. I felt secured, it was really nice.

The next morning I woke up while I was still in Keigo's arms. Nice and secured by his wings still sound us. I wanted to make us both some breakfast so I tried to get out of his embrace, luckily for me it was rather simple. I didn't mind to get dressed again so I just went in Keigo's shirt. It was nice being free today from work. Enji was a nice man, sometimes. But it was really sweet of him to get me off work for a day.

I looked into the refrigerator to find some stuff. I guess I could make eggs and bacon and maybe some toast. I wasn't sure if the eggs were cannibalism but he had them in his own home so I guess it was fine.

After I put the bread in the toaster I started on the eggs and the bacon. It was almost done when I felt two muscular arms wrap around me , hugging me from behind. "You look nice in this outfit" Keigo said with a slight morning voice. It sounded hot, not gonna lie. "Thank you" I said bubbly "sit down it's almost ready" I continued. He did as I said and sat down at the table. He didn't say anything so I guess he was still a bit tired.

After everything was some I gave him his plate "there you go" I said simply. He thanked me and started to eat. "It's really good" he said looking at you with a small smile. "Thank you" I said back. And we just sat in silence after that.

"Y/n?" Keigo asked after we were done with the dishes. "Yes?" I simply said back. "I have to go for an hour or 2, is that okay? I'll be back right away!" He asked me. "Of course, don't worry about it" I said back. He smiled back at me. "Alright birdy I'll be right back then, don't leave okay, and if anything happens. Call me. Even if you think something is slightly off, got me?" He said to me. "Alright I can do that." I said back. I walked up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Be careful with whatever you're gonna do" I said. "Will do baby bird" he said and left.

I was now all alone in his apartment. I didn't mind though. It was nice and I knew how everything worked. So I got up and took a shower to refresh myself.
