Part 22

I blasted myself forward as hard as I could while dropping the rocks I was holding up. The light from outside came closer and closer.

I made it!

I flew a bit further then intended but it didn't matter, everyone came out safely. People were watching me and cheering me on. Even Enji had a smile on his face and his eyes looked proud. Proud that I did this alone and everyone came out safely.

The 2 kids and the woman came towards me as I landed back on the ground. "Thank you so much for saving me and my kids!" She said and the kids cheering her on. "Well I'm a hero after all, and I'm happy you're all save" I told her. "Well you're our hero" she said with a warm smile while the 2 kids mimicked her and smiled at me.

They soon walked away and Enji came up behind me. "Didn't know you could fly" he said bluntly. "Me neither" I simply replied back.

There were reporters everywhere and all sorts of cameras around us. I guess they were filming it all. Soon enough some reporters came towards me to ask some questions. All about me flying or just me in general. I wasn't that popular in Japan. I only got recognized because I was working with Enji. But I didn't mind. Im happy with my work and Enji as my boss. I think we're a great team together.

As everyone went away slowly I saw Keigo running towards me. "baby! Are you okay? Are you hurt? What happened?" He asked. It was sweet how caring he was. "Hey, and yea I'm okay, no I'm not hurt and what happened was that the tram station collapsed and I saved 3 people." I said easily. I was still kinda mad at him. And he knew that. "I'm happy your not hurt birdy. And I'm sorry the way I acted." He said with puppydog-eyes. "Yeah it was mean of you, but it's all okay" I said while giving him a hug. He hugged some back tightly and flapped with his wings to get us both up in the air. "But I can do that too now" I said. He looked a bis confused so I decided to show him. We were already pretty high up so it was perfect. I wiggled myself out of his grip and jumped right out of his arms towards the ground. "Y/N NO!" He said while diving down towards me. But then I let lightning come out of my feet and I was flying! Keigo looked at me with pure shock on his face. "YOU CAN FLY! OH MY GOD YOU CAN FLY!" He said exited. "Yep, found that out an hour ago" I said while spinning around. "He launched forward to hug me. "That's amazing baby" he said in a sweet, calm but happy tone.

We both came back to the ground and I saw a similar boy standing on the ground talking to Enji. It was Natsuo. I can up to him and his head turned my way. "Y/N you were amazing I saw it on the news." He said while giving me a hug. "Thanka Natsu" I started "I didn't know you were a fan of mine" I added. He smiled "of course I am." He said.

"Well Y/N the day isn't over yet, we still have work." Enji said. He was right of course this was just our patrol. "Al rightyyyy, let's get back then" I said back.

Natsuo went back home and I gave Keigo a big hug and a kiss "I'll see you after work, but I need to get to my house first. I need some clothes okay?" I said to him. "Sure, you come to my house after that? Or should I go to your house?" He asked. "Hmmmm you can come to my house, I'll be home around 6/7 I think" I said. "Sounds good, I'll be  quick birdy" he said and have a a sweet kiss on the lips.

Enji and I went back to the Agency. "It's nice to know you can fly now. just like me, by sending your quirk trough your feet" Enji said. "Yeah, I didn't know I could do that. I was surprised but happy. I didn't know how I would get out of there without it" I said a bit sad. "I know you would figure something out, your a smart one Y/N" He added. I felt a smile creep on my face. "Thank you Enji" I simply said back.

We got back to the agency after a while. I still had to do some paperwork and I'd be done for the day. And of course I had to answer a view phone calles. But nothing big happened.

"Y/N look, you're all over the news" I heard Enji said from his desk. He had a good view on the TV from his desk. I always had to stand up and walk towards it. But I didn't mind.

"Lightning saved 3 people today, she gave it her everything. We're glad to have a hero like her." The news lady mentioned. "Wow....THIS IS SO COOL" I jumped happily. I felt like I was on top of the world. People liked me. I was a good hero to them.

"Congratulations Y/N" Enji said. "Thank you!"I said back. "You know what, we're almost Don't with the paperwork anyways so you can go home. But this is a one time thing!" Enji said. "Wait really?! Thanks Enji" I said happy.
He just gave me a small nod in response.

I packed my stuff and waved a bye to Enji before leaving. I grabbed my phone and called Keigo. "Hey, I'm already done with work so I'll be heading home, I'll see you then okay?" I said "sure thing birdy I'll be on my way too, be careful with the air traffic" I said back. I could almost hear him grinding by his 'amazing' joke.
"Sure sure, see you there" I said back before hanging up.

I dit my phone back in my pocket and activated my quirk. And went flying trough the heavens. I need a little practice but I'll get there.
