Team meetings.

Justin's P.O.V

I climb out of my car as I get into the huge gates of the castle, locking my car behind me as I warily look behind me to see if anybody has followed me here, which luckily they haven't.

The reason that I looked to see if anybody followed me is because this place, The Royal Vampire Castle, is believed to just be a high paid business job. What they don't know is that it's actually a really dangerous thing as it has about 15 vampires inside that live there permanently, and that's not including the people that work there, like me.

I take out my photo I.D pass and show it to the guard on the way in, he doesn't say a word just simply nods once as an acknowledgement to tell me I can go in.

I press my card up to the scanner on the door, seeing if it will scan so I can enter and it does. I enter the castle through the chestnut doors and enter the bright red room with a wooden staircase that leads to different places all over the castle.

I shoot up the stairs as the chandelier lights the way with all its tiny little sparkles. Then, I turn left and head to the room at the end of the corridor that I know the rest of my team will be in.

I hate this team thing, but it's kind of good in a way.

The whole thing about the teams, is that every month they'll pick new vampire's who haven't been chosen to go onto a team, and put them on one of the teams.

My team, the more human friendly ones, the other team, not so much.

But if you get picked to be on one of the teams and you don't agree with the team rules then your punished by the royals. And believe me, whether you disagree with the team you wouldn't want to be punished for disobeying any rules, whether you hate it or not.

"Ahh! Here he is!" Dylan exclaims as I walk through the door of about 4 vampire's.

"Hi Dylan" I laugh as I sit down at the leaders chair, as I was chosen to be a Leader and that's why we had to move to Las Vegas so I could do my job.

Don't get me wrong, I miss Toronto but I'm kind of glad that in the other castle in Toronto, I was chosen to be a leader as if I wouldn't of been asked to be a leader then I wouldn't of met my Jess.

"How's Jess?" He questions.

"She's good" I nod.

"Your protecting her, right?" He questions again.

"Of course" I smile.

"Good, but just so you know, we're all going to meet her at some point so we can protect her from the other team" he explains, picking up his pen and twiddling it in his hand as he writes something down.

"How's Jess, Justin?" A voice asks.

My eyes shoot up to see one of my bestfriend's standing at the door.

"What are you doing here?" I question.

"Don't act too surprised" he laughs "I got picked to be on this team"

"Does- does that mean that they've picked someone else for each team to protect?" I question. Every now and again, no matter when, they add a human by picking there name from a hat.

The thing with team's is that, we get chosen two human's each to protect and when there's another human added to your team, there is a second leader which is the first person that was added to your team. The second leader of my team would be Dylan because he was the first person added to my team.

Ryan nods "not just yet, but they're picking a male human from the hat today for us, but they're picking a female for the other team as they already have a male"
