Jess' P.O.V
"Jess! Maddie's at the door for you!" I hear my mother shout as I'm just finishing off my outfit for the day.
I rush down the stairs quickly and find Maddie smiling at me "hey!" I speak as I approach her.
"Hey" she smiles back.
"Where's Lance?" I ask.
Them two are literally never not together, and its surprising to see them not together now.
Maddie rolls her eyes "gone to Shane's" she huffs.
"I thought he didn't like Shane?" Seriously, I'm sure they fell out.
Boys are so confusing.
"Well there friends again apparently and the rest of them want to make it up to you" she rolls her eyes again.
How the fuck can they 'make it up to me' because my sisters now dead!
"Here you go babe, have a good day" my mum smiles handing me my lunch.
"Thanks mum" I smile as i take the bag off her and walk past Maddie and to her car, with her following behind.
I hear my phone beep as I climb into Maddie's car and pull it out of my pocket.
Justin.
"Hey babe,
See you soon, hope your okay :) xx"
I read and reluctantly smile at my phone and type a quick reply.
"Who you smiling at?" Maddie asks intrigued.
"Who?" She asks.
"Justin.. the one I told you about" I say.
Wait.. did I tell her about Justin?
"You haven't told me about Justin" she speaks sternly.
"Well.. this past week we met.. started hanging out a lot, and now we're dating"I speak unsure as to how she may react.
"Your dating this guy and you only met a week ago?" She asks dumbfounded.
I can't believe I haven't told my bestfriend about Justin.
"Pretty much, but trust me.. he's a great guy" I smile.
"When will I meet him?" She asks.
"Today actually, he's starting college today" I smile.
"I'm glad I'll finally get to meet him" she smiles.

"Hey babe" I hear and two arms wrap around my waist.
"Go away Sam" I whine.
It's weird for my ex to be hanging around me and acting like we're still together, when we're not.
"You still love me though" he laughs.
"I'm sure she said go away" Maddie said standing in front of me.
"And who are you to say go away Melissa" he laughs.
Dammit Sam.
"It's Maddie" she rolls her eyes.
"Like I fucking care" he spits.
"Don't fucking talk to my girl like that" Lance speaks and wraps his arms around Maddie's waist from behind.
"Asshole" Sam laughs "I'm not leaving you alone baby, you still love me, let's face it" he says and kisses my neck and up to my jaw with me trying to squirm away.
"Fuck off!" I practically shout at him making him flinch and raise his two hands in defence.
"No can do though baby"he giggles.
"Just do one Sam" Maddie and Lance both speak.
"Oh you two fuck off! I can do whatever I want, your not the boss of me" he scoffs.
"Sam just leave me al-" I go to finish but I'm interrupted.
"Leave her alone you'll have me to deal with" I hear Justin's voice and I reluctantly smile.
Maddie gives me a questioning look as to who it is and I just smirk to which she raises both her eyebrows.
"Oh so your the new kid then" Sam laughs and begins to walk away.
"Yeah" Justin smirks.
"Fine whatever, I've got somewhere to be anyway" Sam says and hurry's off down the corridor.
We all laugh and Justin wraps his arms around my waist and kisses my neck a single time, whispering in my ear "I'll keep you safe baby" causing me to smile gratefully and Maddie and Lance to gush at the two of us when really we should be gushing at them, I'm glad my Bestfriends got a boyfriend like Lance.
I know it's crazy after me only knowing Justin for a week, but I'm lucky to have him.
