Chapter Twenty-Four - Stay With Me

**JADE's POV**

•3 Days Later

I took a bite of my burger, grinning like a person who just drank drugs, as I walked through the messy hallway.

When I found out that we can actually have two clubs, I immediately registered myself to a Ballet Club. That club was launched just yesterday and I thanked God that only less people were registering yesterday.

When I was six, my parents recommended me to join a Ballet Class just located in the city. In short, I was a ballerina when I was young. But that title vanished when I decided to join a piano class. My little dreams of becoming a ballerina fled away.

But now, I just want to at least try it again. Book Club isn't really that club where your presence is a must - in fact, we only research and those stuff when we need to. Besides, that's also for Darren not to find out that I'm actually still in the Book Club.

And, they say that there's a possibility that the members might perform in different places. Why not give it a try, right?

As I took another bite of my burger - this is actually the third one I ate this lunch - the image of Ryan suddenly flashed through my head.

I miss Ryan. I miss his jokes and smiles really bad. I saw him a several times today, but he doesn't talk or even give me one look. He doesn't give any damn, unlike those good, old times.

I vaguely remember that moment when Ryan ordered more than five burgers and was forcing me to keep eating even if I was full. But I do remember a sentence of his completely.

"I want you to be fat so that I can hug you all the time. Sounds good?"

Oh I miss that doofus.

Speaking of missing people who you love, my parents already left for Canada yesterday. I was absent for the whole morning just to be with them in their flight. Before that, of course, we bonded together in some pizza parlor, sharing laughs, smiles, and of course, hugs and kisses.

I miss so many people right now.

As I walked, I - unintentionally - heard some of the girls' conversation as they passed by. I mean, they were talking loudly. So obviously, people could hear it.

"That guy at the gym is so handsome! I wish he was practicing his guitar to sing for me while I'll be in my balcony with the stars above!"

"Pssh. Your dream stink. Did you girls know that he took a glance at me? That was the best moment evah!"

"Whatever. I waved and he waved back! Hah! Beat that, bitches!"

"You little arsewipe!"

"I'll send hundreds of dinosaurs to eat that sorry pathetic ass of yours! Aww, I really hate you!"

Their voices started to fade away as I was about ten feet away from them. I rolled my eyes at how girly their squeals were. Fangirling girls like that make me sick!
