I'm really really sorry for not updating for like a month. One freaking month. I was just really busy and trust me when I say that school is absolute hell. I didn't have time to think about this chapter. I'm really sorry.

Anyways, I hope you will like this chapter. I hope this chappie would somehow lessen your hatred to me (I'm a really slow updater). You're free to hate me dou. Haha x'D

And THANK YOU for giving this story 107k reads. Y'all making me cry.

Chapter Thirty-Two - Starbucks & Labajo

J A D E

". . . I am so freaking excited about the Scorch Trials, Jade. Me and my cousin were dying to watch and I can't wait."

"Now, now, calm down Matthew. I couldn't wait to watch it as well but, just so know, you don't have to repeat it bajillion times because I know that my memory is perfectly working well."

I know he's getting to his fangirling mode - or fanboying, in his case - so I have to stop him before we spend the whole day talking about The Maze Runner. I could already feel his ecstatic aura radiating through my phone that I don't have to see his face to know if he's grinning.

"Oh, it's good to know." he retorted in a rather sarcastic tone. "anyways, it would be great if we watch it together." Matthew probably thought I felt uncomfortable at what he said because he added, "Darren may come, of course."

My heart raced at the name.

"Yeah, I'll tell him that." I answered with a smile. I hope my voice didn't seem too dreamy though. As soon as I realized that I have already arrived at my destination, I told him, "Hey I'll ring you later. Phones aren't allowed in the Library. Bye!"

I waited for him to finish answering and hung up. I slowly opened the door and got in, making sure that I closed it as silent as possible.

The cold air of the place instantly hit my face. Another thing that hit my face (oh come on) was the stony gaze of Mrs. Binns - a thin, horse-faced woman - the Librarian, who is currently sitting on the counter area. She's always been the person I'm anxious to meet whenever I get in here.

Want to know why she's just looked at me like that? Don't ask me. I have no idea. She does that to every breathing creature that gets in. She seems to find everything aggravating.

I tried my very best not to look at her as I pass by. I searched for a comfortable seat and sat down when I found it, and opened my Science book to study for the test later.

Outer Space, I read the chapter title silently. This should be easy. I guess a few books from the Library would do.

I stood up and left for the books about Outer Space. Darren could've been here with me. He asked for assistance in studying this morning, but then told me that he's got some important 'business' to attend to.
