Chapter Twelve - A Coincidence? Weh.

**JADE's POV**

"Red peplum top. . brocade leggings. . and black lace slippers." I mumbled to myself as I got the said outfit from my closets, putting them on the bed afterwards.

I'm. . Tired.

I finally get to lower my impatience last night, and I'm proud of it. I haven't seen Darren after his performance last night and we went home around ten.

To top it all, the party's not bad.

Today's the day Ryan's taking me out to somewhere, well a mall perhaps. We are going to watch the movie 'Into The Woods' and I'm kinda excited about it. This isn't the first time, note that. He has taken me and Ericka to malls a lot of times, that's what best friends do, right?

Ericka. I miss mentioning that name.

And one more thing; I'm glad that the Christmas break has finally started. Ahh, after all the months we've waited.

It's already one thirty in the afternoon and Ryan told me yesterday that we'll meet at two. I already finished bathing, and I'm still going to wear my garments.

After wearing all of them, I combed my brown hair, leaving it freely. I put powder for my face and lip balm for my lips, and that's it. All set.

I got my phone from the desk and unlocked it, going to the messages and sent Ryan a text.

'I'm almost done. Meet ya at Starbucks! :)'

After that, I went down the stairs, going to the kitchen to get myself a mango shake. I sipped it, closing my eyes, feeling the coldness running through my dry throat.

For some unknown reason, I want another person to come with us. Nope, not a bodyguard. It just feels so incomplete without her.

I want Ericka to come.

It just felt like forever without her by our side when it only has been weeks, or maybe a month? I feel so lonely without her, and I bet Ryan too is feeling the same thing. It's hard to leave memories you don't even want to say goodbye.

I guess I'll just hope Ryan invited her then. *Sigh*, I miss her so bad.

After finishing my drink, I kissed the cheeks of my parents who were at the living room and rushed towards the porch where our car was. I hopped inside one of them and told kuya Lance my destination, and we left.

"Ryan!" I yelled, running towards a guy figure who was just in front of Starbucks, careful not to ruin my hair.

The guy faced to my direction and smiled when he noticed my presence. "Jade!" Ryan then ran to me, plastering a big beam on his lips. Oh I love it when he mentions my name. "I thought you wouldn't come."
