Chapter Fifteen - A Night To Remember

**JADE's POV**

I gasped.

The surrounding was filled with sunflowers and there were only few hanging lamps as our light. A table was there, food ready. There was a small roof up there and I have a great view from up here to the sea.

Lastly, there was a guy standing behind the table. He was alone and was wearing a green shirt with yellow jeans. The moment he saw me and smiled, my heart began pounding quickly and I can't help but blush at the whole scenario.

This felt like a dream.

I kept staring at the guy's face with a mixture of shock and amazement. I actually thought that the guy is probably creeped out by now, but I didn't mind coz damn, he was so adorable.

The guy then approached me and stood in front of me, making all nerves in my body go crazy by the way he beams at me. God, It's so damn beautiful!

"Jade, I'm not a TV show." he smirked, but still kept that sweet smile I've been admiring for hours.

My name sounded so perfect at that one.

"Jade?" he snapped a finger in front of my face, still keeping that smile on his lips present. "You still there?"

I shook my head sidewards slightly and blinked a several times. "Oh! I. . uh. ." great, now I was stuttering. I really am bad in presenting myself to a guy. "I'm back." I answered stupidly with an awkward smile.

This guy has a lot of explaining to do.

Darren smiled sweetly once again and ushered me to a seat and pulled it for me to sit. "Let's eat." a tone of enthusiasm escaped from his lips but I can still sense a bit of acting. But if I were another person and if I don't have any single idea about the plan, then it's 100% sure I'll think this is a date.

I returned his smile and nodded, sitting on the chair he prepared for me. My fingers started to tremble but I just hid them below the table where Darren couldn't see. Once he sat down across me, I felt the urge to squeeze that fat cheek of his coz damn, It's really cute.

And I've already lost count of how many times I said that today.

Silence passed again and it soon became an awkward silence when Darren started staring at me with that sweet smile of his. It honestly made me more nervous Darren, stop it.

After a few seconds, he spoke. "It feels great seeing you wearing the dress of my favorite color. Ate Violet surely made an amazing choice on that one." he smiled wider, if that's even possible.

My eyes got bigger. Speaking of which, where is ate Violet? Where are the others?

I leaned closer and showed him a not-so-serious face. "Darren, where are the others? I thought we're going to have a party or something coz they're all wearing dresses and. . ." my voice trailed off. This is such a hullaboo to me
