Iskall still kept as far from Wels and Hels as he could, finally having grasped the concept of a human hybrid. But he still didn't believe that this abomination of nature was one. Think about it from his perspective, can you blame him?

•They're in a place crawling with trickery and liesHels spent most of his time trying to get out.
Wels spent his trying to convince Iskall of his story.
Iskall watched in wonder as the others switched.Hours blended into a few days and the three became closer, though there was still an unspoken layer of tension beneath them.
There was a bang on one of the walls, the one that was a one-way window from the outside of the room. Cubs hand collided with the glass and squeaked as he dragged it down. He made no noise, and yet tears were streaming down his face. He yanked the door of the cell open and stepped inside.
"Iskall you are coming with me." His head was hung over and his voice was slightly quivering like he was trying to make it seem like nothing was wrong.
The swede didn't move. Cub didn't speak, he only grabbed Iskall's arm and pulled him out of the cell. Hels reached out to hold Iskalls other arm but the cell door was slammed before he could.
Iskall tried to fight back but his actions were shut down when he saw Cub's state. Trying to stay strong. Trying so desperately hard not to crumble where he stood right then and there. Not that Iskall knew this but his best friends had just been taken away, possibly forever. Seeing Cub like that triggered a memory. A time that he felt exactly how Cub looked and he couldn't help but resonate with the very same man who could be his end if he truly wanted to.
Cub was still a hybrid in need of saving.
The swede reached out a wary hand and rested it on Cub's shoulder. The vex shrugged it off and tried to stabilise his breathing. He was still the head figure of the worlds biggest hybrid centre. One of the head figures.
"You..." his words were surprisingly strong for his physical state, and yet Iskall let him continue speaking, "Are the closest thing to a saviour that Scar has. I would say I'm sorry but I'm not really."
With that, he lifted his head, eyes red and puffy from crying, and snapped his fingers. His eyes went blue and before the realisation could set in Iskall heard a voice in his head. Cub's voice.
"Now I don't know if you've heard or not, but Scar got himself in a little bit of a pickle. His lungs are almost completely useless. All I have to do is keep you under control until the pythons come to take you to surgery."
As he was speaking he was hitting blows on Iskall that could not be returned. Taps on the shoulder, kicks on the leg all leaving Iskall more disoriented than the last. Spinning, trying helplessly, to catch sight of Cub and stop him. It was futile. It was pointless. Swings at the air. Cub walking right through his arms.
Iskalls back was turned when the pythons burst in. Cub smiled sickeningly and went back to his body. He followed the pythons as they dragged Iskall to the lift. Cub scanned a card against a grey square on the wall and they started going down. Down. Down.
Past the floor below them, the floor below that, and below that. The lift went for a few minutes, Cub's smile never faltering, the Pythons never letting go of Iskall for a second. The swede felt more panicked the longer the lift journey took, Cub's words replaying in his head.
The lift finally stopped and the doors opened. The room they entered was similar to the floor they were previously on. It was completely white except the wall they were facing, which was lined with a huge mirror, spreading from floor to ceiling and wall to wall.
Iskall's eyes scanned the room, three hybrids were in the corner of the room whispering among themselves while staring at the human. There was a table with arm and leg restraints in the middle of the room, there was a portable medical trolley beside it covered in a thin white sheet that went down to the floor. Iskall pieced together the rest.
As soon as it clicked he started struggling for his life, quite literally. He didn't know what they were going to do to him. What they were going to put in, remove, and who knows what else.
The pythons kept their grip as the lift went back up again. The only exit to the room, gone. Iskall got dragged over to the table and thrown down onto it as if the pythons didn't care what damage they did to him. The limb restraints were tied on just a little too tight so that it wasn't sore, just extremely uncomfortable and inconvenient.
The three hybrids came over to the table and took the sheet off the medical trolley. The pythons stepped back and called for the lift again. Cub stayed where he stood the whole time, watching eerily. Up closer, Iskall could tell that the hybrids were Chimps.
The closest to humans on the evolutionary chart, only 1.23 percent difference in the genes. A perfect way for Concorp to bring in intelligent life to their company while still sticking to an all-hybrid staff.
The Chimps put on gloves and prepared their equipment. Iskall couldn't see what any of it was due to them doing it up by his head. The thought of them having sharp surgery knives and tools that close to his skull sent a shiver of fear throughout his whole body. Against a whole company, he was powerless.
One of the Chimps took out an anaesthetic machine from the bottom tray of the medical trolley. Iskall tried to squirm as they went to put it on his face, to no avail. The mask fit snuggly over his face and every breath from then on was pumping oxygen into his lungs. It wasn't an anaesthetic machine. They weren't putting him to sleep.
