But, after getting to Sky high things seemed almost normal again.  “If you're not gonna respect me, at least respect the hat!”  Ron complained to someone.  Speed and Lash had taken Ron's hat.  “Guys, come on.”  Will started walking over.  I came over after a moment.  “Give Ron his hat back.”   I added quickly, keeping my voice calm.  “All right.  You're the sidekicks.  Give him his hat back.”  Speed asserted before leaving.  “We'll catch you later, Stronghold.  Don't think we'll forget about you either, Munroe.”  Lash reinforced before leaving as well.  Ron got his hat back.  “Thanks, you two.”  He told us.  “Sure thing Ron.”  I replied.  The class went on as normal.  Until we got to lunch.  I hadn't seen much of Angel since we got split into Hero Support and Hero classes.  She was the first person I considered my friend.

On the way to lunch, I saw Angel sitting with Penny, Speed, Lash, and Gwen.  Those guys made me nervous.  Will was the last one to come.  Ethan tried saying he saved Will a pudding, but Speed took it.  I started walking over but tripped.  Will did too.  I saw Lash's arm pull away, growling softly.  “Uh… Sorry.”  Will said to someone.  “You will be.”  A gruff voice replied.  I got up.  Oh no.  Will tripped and his lunch went all over Warren.  That guy hated Will.

Will backed away as Warren followed after him.  I moved away from them, looking for something to try and help with.  “You think you can do whatever you want 'cause your name's Stronghold?”  Warren accused.  Warren growled.  Will tried reasoning, saying their fathers didn't have to dictate what they were going to do.  “Nobody talks about my father.”  He hissed.  Warren's arms lit on fire.  Will yelped.  I looked around.  Something felt different about the situation.  “Oh, it is so on!”  Warren yelled.

Kids started cheering for them to fight.  A student told Mr. Boy to do something.  He ran off, yelling for Principal Powers.  I looked around again, grabbing a water bottle.  I tried opening it, but it practically exploded.  The water went right to Warren.  Part of his flames went out.  Warren looked at me now.  He looked even madder, his flames going up again.  I grabbed a tray, blocking a fireball from hitting me.  Will tried distracting Warren.  I backed away, watching the fire Warren was making.  Every time he launched a fireball, his fire heat increased to compensate for the loss of surface area.  Will hide under a table.  I yelped.  “Stop it Warren!”  I shouted.  Another bottle hit him in the head.  Warren jumped on a table, facing me again.  “Where are your sidekicks, sidekick?”  He accused Will.  I heard Will take a breath.

“Right here.”  I replied.  That didn't help my situation, but it might help Will's.  I looked around again.   For just a moment, everything got brighter.  Like looking with a flashlight.  A breeze blew, but it wasn't strong enough to put any of Warren's flames out.  “Leave them alone!”  Will declared, picking the table, and Warren, up before throwing them both.  “He's strong.”  I muttered, shocked.  Everything dimmed down slowly.  Will seemed surprised.  “He's super strong.”  Someone else realized.  I zoned in on a water fountain.  Without really thinking, I raised one hand slowly.  The fountain shook, water shooting out.  Unfortunately, it didn't go anywhere near Warren.  “Woah.”  I heard someone exclaim.  Warren and Will were getting worse.  “Think I can't take a hit?”  Warren hissed, charging.  There was a fire extinguisher nearby.  I grabbed it.  “Will, catch!”  I showed, throwing it to him.  Warren was still coming.  “Will!  Pull the pin!”  I shouted.

Will pulled… the top off… just in time, putting Warren's flames out.  Unfortunately, Powers showed up at that time too.  She told the two boys to come with her.  I took a step forward.  “Principal Powers, if I could say something?”  I asked.  Powers turned to face me but nodded.  “Tatakatte iru no wa karera dakede wa arimasen. Watashi mo sōdeshita.  They weren't the only ones fighting.  I was too.”  I told her, repeating it in English.  Powers shook her head.  While being honest might be a good trait, it got me put in detention as well.  But, at least I could make sure those two boys didn't start fighting again.  We were brought to a completely white room and told to take a seat.
