Alec looks up as someone walks into his office.
"Magnus, please have a seat."
Magnus sits down and asks, "no kiss or anything."
Alec smiles at magnus, then remembering the reason for his visit, says, "Magnus, this isn't a social call."
"What is it?"
"I got this from the clave." Alec answers, handing Magnus a piece of paper.
Magnus reads it and says, "no."
"What do you mean no."
"Just what I said."
"Magnus." Alec says, taking a deep breath. "It is for your protection. These threats have to be taken seriously and its not like you are the only one. Every high warlock in the world is being targeted."
"Alexander, its not that I mind having the protection but I don't want some random shandowhunter being with me all the time."
"Magnus."
"The only reason they will be doing it is because it is orders."
"Magnus."
"And I don't know how you are ok with having someone listening when we make love. No and I mean it."
"Are you finished?"
Magnus crosses his arms across his chest and says, "yes."
"Good. I don't want you to have just some random shandowhunter as your protection."
"You mean you are going against orders."
"I didn't say that either."
"I don't understand."
"Well." Alec says, walking around his desk and kneeling in front of Magnus. "The clave didn't say anything about who had to be assigned to this, so, I am taking the assessment myself."
"Oh." Magnus says, smiling. "Then I guess I can put up with the inconvenience."
