"Daddy. Papa." Magdaline says, walking into their bedroom followed by max and Rafeal. "We made you breakfast in bed." She says as magnus and alec both sit up and they sit the trays on the bed.
Alec looks at magnus then says, "it looks wonderful guys."
"Wait." Max yells. "Don't eat, we forgot the coffee." He says as all three of them leave the room.
"Magnus."
"Yes, darling." He says, poking at his food with his fork.
"Please tell me you magiced food into the kitchen last night."
"Alexander, darling, you know very well that I was with you last night and magicing food into the kitchen was definitely not what I was thinking about."
Alec blushes then says, "well then I know for a fact that we didn't have anything to cook."
"I know."
"Then what did they cook."
"I don't know." Magnus says as the kids walk back in.
"You guys haven't tried anything yet?" Rafeal says.
Alec picks up his fork and puts food in his mouth, trying to swallow it.
"Papa, aren't you going to try it?" Max asks.
Magnus looks at alec then when he hesitates, alec says, "Come on, mags, try it, it is delicious."
Magnus frowns at alec but when he looks at the smiles on his children's faces, he smiles softly and takes a bite of his breakfast.
