"Magnus." Alec says, pulling his jacket around him. "Why are we here?" He says, looking around at the people.
"Alexander, darling, we are here for the greatest shopping experience of the year."
"How is this different from any other shopping trip you have dragged me on?"
"It's black friday."
"Is that why you portaled us to Minnesota?"
"No. I portaled us to Minnesota for mall of america."
"Oh ok." Alec says, then noticing Magnus shivering he opens his jacket to invite him closer. They both share a look and with subtle movements, Magnus enlarges the inside of alecs coat while alec activates his heat rune.
"Magnus."
"How are you this year?"
Great. How are you?"
"Terrific." He says, snuggling into alecs warmth.
"Is this alec?"
"Yep." He says, smiling.
"Wow after hearing about alec all these years we finally get to meet your boyfriend."
"Fiance' actually." Alec says, snuggling into magnus's neck.
"I want details." She squeals in a way that reminds alec of izzy.
"There aren't really that many details." Magnus laughs. "We were laying on the couch on new years day, both very hungover from our new years eve party. I was laying on alecs bare chest, I looked up and said, "marry me, Alexander."
"And I answered, if that means no more hangovers then yes."
"That is so romantic." She says, grabbing Magnus into a bone crushing hug.
