Alec and jace walk out of the training room, with their shirts still off, and into the ops center.
"Wow, I've never seen anyone look so interested when talking to Robert and Maryse." Jace says.
"What are you talking about?"
"Magnus. He actually looks like he could stand there for days and talk to them."
Alec grins and says, "bet I could get him to leave the conversation and I won't say a word to him."
"How?"
"I will send him a simple one word text."
"I got to see this." Jace says as they walk through the ops center.
Alec smirks when he notices magnus follow him with his eyes. When him and jace get out the door, alec takes out his phone and types, "shower?" He puts his phone back in his pocket and walks to his room, leaving jace standing in the door way.

Magnus takes his phone out and looks at the message and a small smile appears on his face.
"Magnus." Maryse says. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. But, I have something I just remembered I need to do." Magnus says, turning around.
"You have not been told you can leave, warlock." Robert says. "What could possibly be more important?"
"Well, if you must know, my fiancee is waiting in the shower for me and he needs my help." Magnus says, leaving.
"Did he just say fiancee?" Robert says, looking at Maryse.
"Yes, he did."
"Where did he get the idea he could ask alec to marry him?"
"Probably from when he asked for my blessing and I gave it to him."
"How could you do that?"
"They love each other very much and out son is the happiest I have ever seen him. So, of course I said yes."
"I will not let that happen."
"What are you talking about?"
"Nothing. Just forget it." Robert says, walking away into the library.
