Magnus is laying on the couch absentmindedly scratching chairman behind the ears when, at the same time as alec walks in, a fire message appears on the table.
"Great." Magnus grumbles as alec sits down next to him.
"What is it?"
"They have appointed a new head of the Institute since your mother is retiring?"
"Yeah they are supposed to be here this evening from idris."
"I have to be at the Institute in the morning to officially meet them."
"I'm sure they won't be that bad."
Magnus snorts at alecs comment and mumbles, "I wouldn't bet on that."

Magnus is standing at the window in the office at the institute, admiring the view when two very familiar hands wrap around his waist.
"Alexander." He says, laying his head back on alec's shoulder.
Alec kisses his neck and smiles against his skin.
"You keep doing that and I'm not going to be able to stop myself."
"Who said you have to?"
"Making out in here when it was you mothers office is one thing but how do we dont know how the new head of the Institute will react if they catch us."
"They won't care." Alec says still kissing magnus's neck.
Magnus quietly moans when alec kisses a sensitive spot then stammers, "How do you know?"
"Because it's my office, so I can take you right there on the desk."
Magnus pulls away and says, "your office?"
"Yep."
Magnus leans down, kissing alec softly then whispers in his ear, "now, how about taking me on the desk." He says, snapping his fingers, locking the door.
