"Come on, Alexander." Magnus says, pulling on alec's arm.
"Where are we going?"
"There is nothing going on with the convention since it is the weekend so I thought we could go explore london."
"Ok. Sounds like fun." Alec says as magnus takes his hand and they leave.
They walk through London, magnus taking alec to all the places he knows from the years he lived in london.
"Where are we?" Alec asks when they walk up to a small house as the sun sets behind them.
"If I didn't come see tessa and jem while I am in london she would never forgive me." He says, knocking on the door.
"Magnus, alec. What are you guys doing here?" Tessa asks, answering the door.
"Warlock convention." Magnus says as she hugs them and they walk in.
Magnus sits in the chair and when alec goes to sit on the couch magnus pulls him down on his lap, alec lays his head on his shoulder.
"Magnus." Jem says after a couple of hours. "Your husband is asleep."
Magnus looks down at alec who is now laying on his chest.
"Yeah, we had a late night last night. He portaled here to surprise me."
"I still can't believe you are married." Jem says, shaking his head.
"I know." Magnus admits. "But I've never been happier." He says, stroking alecs hair.

"I am so glad we get to go home tomorrow." Magnus says while they are packing.
"Why don't we go home tonight?" Alec asks.
"Because we are going to the formal dinner that is always held after the convention."
"We are?"
"Yes." Magnus says, kissing alec.

"How many more speeches are there?" Alec asks, leaning over to magnus.
"This is the last one. Then we eat and then the dancing starts."
"Dancing?"
"Yes, Alexander, dancing." He says as the speaker walks off stage.
"I don't like to dance." Alec says as magnus tries to pull him to the dance floor.
"You danced with me when we got married."
"That was different. We had just gotten married."
"Just one dance and I won't ask the rest of the night."
Alec sighs but allows himself to be pulled out of his chair.
